I was excited to try these Joe's Jeans, they are one of my favorite brands for stylish denim. The wide leg design is trendy and appealing, and I ordered my usual size. First impressions were a bit disappointing. Upon opening the sealed wrapping bag, I found a strong, unpleasant smell, like they'd been stored in a humid space. So, I’ll definitely need to wash them before wearing. The jeans fit well overall, but the high waist is very loose in the back, creating too much empty space unless you're okay with that pocket gap look. That said, the jeans are well made with high quality, stretchy jeans fabric and look phenomenal. Just be aware that the fit might not work for everyone, it feels about two sizes bigger in the back. The quality of the denim is really good. The fit - not so good. I’m 5’4” tall and about 140 pounds. I ordered a size 27 because that’s my usual size and they felt very loose. I had to keep pulling the pants up. They are VERY STRETCHY and I hate how high waisted they are. I’m so over the high waist pants. It’s become very boring and common. I do think if I had ordered a size down I would have been a tad bit happier. Joe’s jeans have always been high quality and unique styles and this pair is no different, I just feel like the “fit” or the cut of the jeans is a little out dated and also a little off for my body type. These are very nice heavy duty jeans! As baggy thicker jeans with some stretch they weight a lot so be prepared for that and you'll be quite satisfied too. I'm 5'8 210lbs and ordered the 32 and really could have sized down one size and have them fit too given the slight stretch action in the fabric. While these might not be my summer go-tos, I well imagine I'm going to be loving these thicker jeans come fall. Plus, since they're fairly long even on me, it'll be great to pair them with a heeled boot. Read more

Joe's Jeans are well-known, so I expected high quality, and that's what I got in terms of workmanship. However, there was an odor when I first opened the bag, not sure why. That was unpleasantly surprising. These are straight-leg style, but because of my height, they look a little long and wide on me. They're very stretchy, so they can probably work for a size up. They look great with a shorter top. Very comfortable jeans. Read more
