Cute skirt to dress up or down.
The Joe's Women's The Vegan Patent Leather Mini Skirt is definitely pricier than I'd like but I honestly grabbed it mostly to see what deems that cost for something that's not natural leather. The construction is solid, and the material is sturdier than expected, plus there's even a little bit of stretch in the fabric itself. For reference, I'm 5ft tall, 120 lbs, and normally wear a US 4-6, Small in most clothing. Here I chose a 4 in Bordeaux and thankfully it fit just right. I admit, this skirt is cute and can easily be dressed up or down with a pair of heels, combat boots, or even a pair of loafers and tights to add some warmth. Thankfully the inside is lined with a fine fabric that feels slightly like suede. As tempted as I was to grab the matching jacket, I can't really commit to that much shine personally but it definitely makes a good look! For me, the skirt is plenty and the jury is still out on whether or not it's worth that price. I just can't trust the claim that it's machine washable as my experience with most faux leathers, is it definitely has high potential to dry out and eventually start cracking. Because of this, I'm sticking to hand washing it and so far, it's held up nicely with a few wears. Read more
