I bought this pitcher a yr ago. It’s a great pitcher and cheaper than brita. My main issue is that it said it was compatible with the brita filters. It is not. It’s been a yr so I had to replace the filters w ones that didnt come w the product. I had a long lasting brita filter so I went to use it. The brita filter is too small and water comes in from the side. Just annoyed that I wasted a brita filter for no reason. If it didn’t say it was compatible I wouldnt have ruined a brand new filter that I’m sure I would eventually have used or could have given to someone who currently has a brit pitcher. They’re pricey! I used to have a brita so that’s why I had an extra filter. Update: seller reached out to me after my original review. Increased stars bc I really appreciate that. Great customer service! Read more

Love my water pitcher. Works perfect. Easy to use, filters fast and water tastes awhile lot better, but i never have fiqured out the date thingy on top. So I just mark my calendar when its time to change filter. Read more

This more expensive 10-cup version of the Brita water pitcher was purchased in part for the blue filters that are claimed to be so much better. I’m replacing an older standard filter version that can’t be cleaned properly. Here are the problems: the filters don’t snap into place any longer, they just sit in a hole which causes leakage around the filter; of the four holes on the bottom of the blue filter only two work; and I test Parts Per Million to avoid unnecessary contaminates. Anything under 50 ppm is good. Tap water here is 40 ppm, the older standard filter is 32 ppm, and the whizbang blue super filter is 52 ppm, making it worse than tap water (I don’t know how a filter can add contaminates to tap water but here you go). Even using an older standard filter, the water has a sharp “metallic” taste compared to the same filter in the older version. Maybe this disappears with use. I appreciate that the pitcher can be dismantled and cleaned, and the spout has a cover for the first time. But the one working part, the filter gauge, doesn’t operate. If there are instructions on how to make anything work better, they were not included. This would be a nice pitcher if the filters were better and actually fit. For the money, I recommend a less expensive pitcher with standard filters, but one that doesn’t leak around the filter. Sort of defeats the purpose. Read more
