In my opinion, these are by far some of the best kitty litter liners on the market! I use nothing but Johnny Cat. When my daughter originally got her cat we tried other brands, but they were either too flimsy or tore when her cat would use his box. They are designed to fit larger cat boxes as well, which is a huge benefit when traveling. Furthermore, the drawstring is sturdy allowing for easy disposal and clean up. In the few years I've been using these, I have had them only fail twice. Highly recommend these bags to anyone for their value, durability and reliability. Read more

Fits perfectly. I have a large box for 2 cats. They are sturdy and don't rip as they are thick bags. No leaks stretches perfectly traps the litter, no way for litter to go under bag. No scent and the plastic material used is durable. Read more

I buy these a lot, they are must have for cats. They don’t tear or leak, they stretch and fit well over large pans. The plastic is heavy duty, much better than using a bag. You just lift it out and throw it away when done. No mess! Read more

I've been using these liners for a couple of years now. They're pretty decent. They're the thickest liners I've come across, and the size is great for large litter boxes. I got 2 new kitties about a year ago, and they're the first cats I've owned who haven't been declawed. They do wind up inevitably scratching holes into the liners, but I'm not sure that can be avoided bc they do have tiny razors attached to their sweet lil beans. What I've had an issue with lately is the 2 corners in the liners that end up falling along the sides of the box instead of 4 corners that can fit into the box corners. Somehow my cats always end up getting their business in the little pouches made by each of the 2 corners, so it makes for a very smelly, messy clean up. The fewer nooks and crannies for kitty waste to get in, the better for smell and cleanliness. The construction of these liners results in lots of little places for the waste to hide in and fester. I'm hoping that if they have enough reviews of people complaining about this, Jonny Cat will make a liner with 4 corners! Until then, I'm probably going to start hunting around again for something a little better suited for my (well, my cats') needs. Read more

Great, thick liners. I've ordered these over and over again because they work so well. Very sturdy, however, they do tear *slightly* if you haven't trimmed your cat's claws. Highly recommend. Read more

This is not just "heavy duty," or "tear resistant"-- it is the only liner I have found that is up to cats who are not declawed. I do clip my cats claws just to snip off the very tip every couple of weeks, and they have lots of things in the house to use to keep their claws groomed, but they tear through every other box liner on the market, even ones that claim they are meant for cats with claws. I even tried lining the box with tear resistant garbage bags, but they are too loose. Jonny Cat liners work, and they even work with highly-maintained scoopable litter, where a full-box change only needs to be done every several weeks, so the liner is in for a while. Even in that case, any tiny pricks the liners might get are not big enough to let litter through, as opposed to the giant rips in other brands, that open even wider when you lift the liner for a change. They cost pretty much the same as the liners that don't work as well, so even if your cats don't have claws, or if you use clay litter and change every other day, there's really no reason to buy something else. I'm pretty fussy about litter box care, but on the other hand, I don't want to have to scrub it out and use cleansers, to the point that a cat rejects it as unfamiliar. These liners lift out, and the box looks practically new. I rinse it out, dry with rags, and every few changes use an odorless cleanser, and ready to refill. It makes changing the box fast and easy, and with scoopable litter, upkeep in general not the chore it was in my childhood. The big box of 15 lasts almost a year. I'll never buy anything else.
