Joola appears to take a lot of pride in their products. We have their outdoor ping pong table and this water bottle is similar in that is a high quality product. Packaging: you can see in the picture that it came over packaged, not a negative. It's reassuring that they want their product to reach the consumer the same way it leaves quality control. It was bubble wrapped and then place inside the cardboard cylinder. I'll probably repurpose the cylinder. It's solid. It's a taller water bottle, 22 oz, fits neatly in car cup holders. The carrying loop also doubles as a carabiner. This is a plus since my wife hangs her pickleball bag off the chain link fence. She can do the same with her water bottle for easy access. Opening the drink spout took me a few seconds to figure out the locking clasp and the spring loaded. Release. The lock and unlock imprint on the spout cover is unobtrusive so it took me a second to find it and figure it out. Anyway, you slide the locking mechanism to the right and receive a satisfying click thereby releasing the drinking spout closure. Don't be hasty and pry the top off! You then depress a spring-loaded mechanism on the top to release it. That's pretty neat. I'm so used to the twist off ones that require two hands to operate that this would allow me to have one hand on the steering wheel and open and close the water bottle with the other free hand. Pretty efficient process and I'm liking it! The carabiner and the one-handed drinking spout management. I definitely stand out features for this water bottle. Besides that, it compares well to other high-end water bottles regarding the body, construction and appearance and likely durability. Read more

This is a great water bottle for having with you on the courts. It is easy to drink from and has a nice handle to hold the bottle. The stainless steel construction with double-wall insulation keeps the water cold for a whole block of playing time, and the click lid with carabiner handle makes it easy to pick up between points without having to worry about leaks in the bag. One downside is that you are paying a little extra for the JOOLA brand and the 22 oz size is more of a "session companion" than a full-day jug, but as a dedicated court bottle it perfectly combines durability, function, and style. The press the snap-open was the best thing about this water bottle. And the added slide-to-lock mechanism was a bonus, to make sure the lid doesn't open accidentally inside your bag. Without the straw, it's so easy to clean. It's a quality water bottle for sure. I wish there were some more color choices, but nothing else to complain about this at all. Read more

I had a Contigo water bottle that I liked. But the gasket in the top fell out and got lost. Contigo does not sell replacement gaskets, and I could not find one. Now that one would leak unless held perfectly vertical. I got this JOOLA water bottle and like it even better. The top has a simple but clever way to lock the cap so nothing leaks out in any position. When unlocked, you can pop up the cap and pour out a big drink. I prefer bottles that let you pour a drink instead of having to suck it out of a straw. The capacity of this is just right; the mouth is wide enough to pour in ice cubes. My recommendation would be to get the slighter bigger size. This one is a tad too small for me. Everythign else about it though I love. The wide mouth to put ice in. Keeps your drinks very cold. Design of the opening is small but locks perfectly. Looks cool on the courts with JOOLA. Quality and functionality is definitely there. Water retention is good too with no spills. Read more

I am very active in the Arizona heat and need to stay hydrated. Unfortunately, I have lost, dropped and broken many water bottles, so I have used several different kinds and brands. This is one of the best I have come across. For health and safety, I always make sure the interior is stainless steel and any plastic parts are BPA Free, which this bottle has. I was very pleased to find a large 22 oz. bottle that will easily fit in my car's cup holder. Other factors that aren't found in many bottles that this one has are that it is dishwasher safe (a great time saver), it has a non-slip outside material (important with sweaty hands), a nice handle for carrying or hooking to your bag, and a very solid locking, leak proof lid that is easy to open. This is an excellent insulated water bottle. The insulated design works really well at keeping cold water cold in warm temperatures. Which is amazing for playing outdoors in the summer as cold water is especially great then for cooling off and hydrating. The Joola branding is prominent but cool looking. It's a modern design which looks nice. The lid works well and does not leak. I feel safe putting this into a backpack. Cleaning the bottle is straightforward with a bottle brush as the cap comes off a wide opening. I'm a fan of the 22oz sizing as well. It's slim enough to easy grasp in my hands and fits into backpack bottle pockets and car cup holders without issue. Read more
