these work great. i prefer these vented plates over some others because the glistco skates i use for stands work with these as they fit like factory psn plates do . some plates with cooler looking vent holes don't have the overhang for the skates to hook on too. i have a fan dust screen kit under the plates for mine that gives extra dust protection. that makes the dust collect on top for easy vacuuming. the air coming out the rear of the system is so much cooler. i keep a temperature monitor back there and its easily dropped temps and kept air flowing more freely. it's cool instead of hot. i'd say just run the vacuum hose on it or dust buster to keep in clear and your extending the life of your ps5. i have a launch system and it's never once had issues with my system. i keep it clean and dust free. good luck gamers.
