I really like these boots. The material feels high-quality and they look very well constructed. The finish has a velvety appearance — not actual velvet, just a soft matte texture — which makes the boots look more stylish and elevated than typical faux leather. They also feel warm for the colder months, which is something I really appreciate. And although I haven’t worn them in heavy rain yet, the material does seem to offer a good level of water resistance, enough for walking through light rain or wet sidewalks without worrying. My foot measures 24 cm from heel to toe, and I ordered a size 7.5. The fit is perfect. One thing to be aware of is that the boot runs a bit narrow. It worked for my feet, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who needs extra room or has wide feet. I haven’t worn them long enough yet to test all-day comfort or long-term durability, but based on the initial quality, warmth, style, and fit, I’m very satisfied and would recommend them. Read more

Ok so! important stuff first: I typically wear a size 9 in sneakers & a 9 or 9.5 in boots. I got a 9 here, and although i have plenty of toe room? I think the 9.5 would've been more comfortable (but too long.) That's the reason i knocked off a star. For the $70 price tag, I'd honestly size up a half size if you're usually in between sizes & unsure. The quality is there though, so I'm thinking they'll stretch out a bit with regular wear. Moving on - the color is GORGEOUS. It's a rich, dark, chocolate brown, and honestly way prettier in person. (I posted pics of it with & without flash and with & without jeans. It looks gorge in all of them I think.) I appreciate the way they slide on- with the fabric sides that stretch as it goes over your feet and the fabric loops you can use to pull them on with. Awesome boots. There is nothing negative about them. I just love them. I always wear all my full coverage footwear with a sole insert. So this review is taking that into consideration. Comfort - 4.9* Color - 5* Material- 5* Quality-5* Traction-5* Durability- I have worn it only 3 times but it seems it is here for a long run. Waterproof- I haven’t washed worn it when it was raining lightly but won’t recommend. I think he suede won’t like it. While the price is on the higher side, it is worth every penny. Out the box you get an immediate waft of plastic. The boots were nicely packaged and had no damage, no visible threads, no visible glue, etc. The black color is quite rich and dark (I think my photo makes them look grayer than they are in person) but I do think these look "plasticky". I have moderately wide (fat) feet with a bit of a bunion around the ball of my foot. I fit into these with thick wool socks but it was rather tight. A long shoe horn would be helpful. These shoes were extremely stiff in the back of the heel and in the arch/around the middle of the foot. This makes my gait awkward as my feet are not bending like they should when walking. I have worn these for 8 work days now and they have not gotten softer/more flexible. I have ended each day with aching feet. They are damp-proof and ok warmth (not great, I think on truly cold days these will be not the best for warmth). The tread is deep which will be helpful on slushy days. But overall, I am giving these a 3/5 because of the lack of comfort. Perhaps if I had gotten a slightly larger size, or if they are worn longer maybe they will break in, but right now after my test period I am rather unhappy with the boots. Read more

I’m really impressed with these dark brown faux leather boots. They are very well made and have a good, heavy lug sole with deep tread. I was a little surprised that the sole felt a bit slippery at first, even though it’s so heavily treaded, but after wearing them a bit they’ve broken in nicely and don’t feel slick anymore. The faux leather feels & looks like real leather, it is soft right out of the box—not stiff—so there was no break-in period. They slip on easily with the pull tabs on the front and back, and they fit true to size. I also love that they don’t rub on my shins like some boots do. I wore them all day at work and they stayed comfortable. I tend to walk heel-heavy, and these have enough cushioning in the heel that my feet still felt great by the end of the day. I'm fairly picky about my shoes/boots and these are cute, stylish, comfortable, and at a good price point—I’m super pleased and definitely recommend!
