I hate returning items to Amazon because they often end up in the landfill but I just have to return this pair of Journey ankle boots. It’s impossible to wear. Quality - stitching on the inside coming apart - leather appears to be ripped inside at the bottom of the zipper of the left boot. Little nub of leather on top of the boot. Size - the front is narrow and tight. If you look at the anatomy of the foot, the forefoot (toes) is the widest, followed by the midfoot, and then finally the hindfoot (the heel). In this shoe the front actually tapers so it is the narrowest of all. Nobody’s foot actually tapers in front! So the front of the boot pinches and is very uncomfortable. Comfort - Very little padding. Insole is hard, not cushiony. Structure - very little arch support. Used? Came with a scuff mark on the heel of the right boot. Pros - looks nice enough. Nice low heel.
