I really like this case for the PS Portal. It fits extremely well, and the grips are super comfortable—once you get used to the textured feel. At first they feel a little strange, but after a few hours they go from “odd” to surprisingly nice and secure in the hands. The case feels solid and sturdy, and I have no doubt it will protect the device if dropped. The cutouts are well designed, and there’s no issue plugging in the charging cable. The built-in kickstand is great too—strong, stable, and it completely removes the need for a separate charging stand for display. The front cover is durable and adds real protection, so you don’t need an additional carrying case. My only small gripe is that the front piece is a bit annoying to snap on the first couple of times. I really like this JOYTORN full protective case for the PlayStation Portal Remote Player. My 6-year-old received this device for his birthday, and having extra protection gives me peace of mind since drops can definitely happen. I do like this case and its great for transport. Take the portal to work sometimes if I think I'll have downtime. My main complaint is the swivel stand. It works, keeps it upright and is sturdy for the most part, but its a little bit weak as far as accidents go. I had it wedged under my arm as I had ither things in my hand as I walked through a sliding glass door, forgot I had the stand flipped out and caught it on the door and it snapped whatever part keeps it from flexing all the way out. Sorta still worked for a couple days then nope. Ordered another one and this time after a month a had apparently manhandled the swivel the wrong way (alcohol was involved) so that broke but I can still get it to lock into place and use it just fine. I gave 4 stars because while a bit flimsy both instances were ultimately my doing, just wish it couldve handled more. Metal parts would help but would also bring up the cost. So if you're not an accident prone idiot like myself, or dont even care about the stand then its a great protective case for the price. Read more

This is such a smart product. It's exactly what's needed for this kind of accessory. I just needed something to keep it protected while it's out in the open in my living room. It fits perfectly and even snug enough to still fit in a carrying case as the design keeps very simplistic. I especially love the feel of the grips. The texture initially threw me off, it reminded me of 3D printer raw texture. It obviously isn't and it's intentional here. The texture is very very very grippy. Like there is no way anyone will drop this because it slips. It practically is so grippy it sticks to your hand. I love it. Feels super safe holding it when playing with it. Anyways super recommend. Protect your Portal with this the value makes it worth it to avoid someone clumsy scratching your toy while it's out in the open. Read more

I like this case way more than I thought it would. I love the texture on the back of the rubber grip. It’s very aggressive at the same time. It doesn’t look that way. It looks very subtle but on close inspection the textured pattern both looks and feels very nice and helps maintain a very sturdy grip. I love having the cover to protect the screen in the sticks when the device is not in use or when traveling. It does add some bulk on the front of the device, which does make it a little awkward to hold if you don’t hold it by the grips All in all, I’m very satisfied and would recommend this case Read more
