I bought this for the claim it reduces blind spots. It does indeed show areas on both sides of my minivan. It does not entirely remove blind spots but it greatly increases your field of vision. It also reflects a lot of the interior which is great for folks traveling with children. Installing it is a breeze. Two things to be aware of, neither of which bother me so still 5 stars: Because it is convex, cars behind you appear slightly farther away than they do in flat mirrors. It took me a couple hours on the highway to get accustomed to the difference. Be careful changing lanes until you get used to this. Unlike standard car mirrors, this does not have feature to darken it. I’m used to the lever that tilts the mirror to cut down glare at night. If this is something you need this mirror might not work for you. Overall I’m very happy with the mirror especially at under $10 and I recommend it highly. Read more

Snaps on easy and you can see almost a full 180° behind you, can even see into blind spots with it. Because it's convex, it distorts the view slightly and makes it hard to gauge the distance of things behind you, but it doesnt make it difficult to actually see whats there or create a warped image. I love that I can see all blind spots and get a good 180 view but it’s like a convex mirror (fish eye mirror). It was hard to get used to the mirror at first due to it making everything look tiny or far far away vs. an OEM or standard mirror. Great buy though and ease of installation.
