Very good usb cables. They are thick and seem very rugged. I needed them for a guitar pedal (Hall of Fame 2) and they work with it so they should be fine for charging purposes as the pedal is probably more finicky about data transfer speeds than devices are about charging speed. I don't know why USB mini-B has become so uncommon, (well, except for the fact that USB C is clearly superior) but I still have devices that use it - like my older GPS and my Ender-3 3D printer. I keep losing the cables, it seems. Or the ones I have just don't work. These replacements work flawlessly for both charging and updating my devices. They're well built and attractive, too. These work perfectly for charging my ancient PS3 controllers. One very important thing never mentioned is that you can't charge a Dualshock 3 (DS3) through a wall outlet. They must be plugged directly into the system while it's *ON* (not even in rest mode) or in a computer's USB 3 port. Using a phone charger with any USB Mini-B cable for a DS3 doesn't work at all, and high voltage ones can actually damage the controller unless you use an adapter. And remember - if you haven't used the DS3 for years, the battery will be completely empty, and actually takes several minutes charging before it can even turn on. Just give it time, and the red charging light will finally start blinking! Read more
