This chess/checkers set was worth the money. Good quality of pieces and the mat type board. I purchased this for my 10 yr old son, and he takes the set to school to play with friends for recess. The game is easy to set up and play, and then clean up and put away. He also has told me it is easy to put away in the portable bag. Also it is a good size board and chess pieces and checker pieces. I’ve been getting into a chess kick lately and wanted something portable to bring somewhere. I decided to grab this set and bring it into work. Is it the best quality ever? No, but it gets the job done and you wouldn’t care at all. It’s surprising the amount of coworkers I have that actually played chess. It’s fun to just take a break from work to play. We even set up a leaderboard in the break room. Everything fits nicely in the case and packaged separately by ziplocks. I don’t use the checkers but it’s there. Overall, it’s a great value. Read more
