Great safe for the price, easy to set/reset the password, sturdy and well built. I only wish the knob you turn to open it wasn’t loose when the safe is closed. It has like a 45 degree range of motion while the safe is locked so I could see someone trying to force it to the side (though probably wouldn’t work). Another thing is the battery cover. It’s a pretty loose fit and mine doesn’t click in. Since my safe is on its back this is more of an issue for me as the batteries are in the door. I had them fall out once but then just duct taped the cover on just to make sure they don’t fall out. If they do just use emergency key. Read more

The code always works for me and I have not had any issues with the batteries falling out. There a little blue light that glows when you open it and it stays lit for quite awhile. I do wish the door wasn’t quite so thick, because it definitely limits what can be put in there. I have a full sized wallet, a flat makeup type zipper bag and a roll of money in there and can still stick other stuff in there if I needed to.
