Store bought juice is just full of preservatives and sugars or sweeteners, so this appeared to be a good option. When it arrived, very quickly for a rural address like mine, it was not heavy or huge, which is a plus. I warm water washed all the parts, familiarizing myself with the pieces and assembly, then perused the quick start guide to reassemble and use the juicer. I had garden veggies, which I loaded into the hopper as it said to do, and it produced the best spicy v-8 juice in short order! It was fresh, delicious and made with my garden produce! Great juicer. Got it for my mom because I wanted to get her a newer juicer and prime day came in clutch. Easy to clean and use. Took some figuring out but putting everything together and taking everything apart is super easy once you find out that you have to have the cap open to do so. I didn't know it at first and almost broke it. The cap is essentially the trigger, so when its closed, the juicer is ready to go when turned on so you have to have it open to remove the parts for cleaning. The skin removal part of the juicer is handy. Much easier than the old 2000s juicers. You can do what you like with the excess. Seen people say make them into pancakes. My mother uses it for her garden. The reasons I give it 4 stars are: although you can juice oranges, lemons, limes and fruits similar, you'll just taste the skin when drinking the juice and that the strainer is cheaply made. First use, have to wait to see how it holds up long term. The first use gave me no problems. Easy to take apart and clean and clear directions. I got mine on one of the sales so wasn't too expensive. It is quiet and nothing broke and was able to fit 2 large oranges at a time. This was the result after 3 oranges. I wound up doing 5 and it filled the cup. I peeled the oranges beforehand just to make it easier on the machine. I did 5 apples after, just cored them and they did just as well. Read more
