One of my luxuries is a big beach towel after my morning shower. Given enough time, my trusty old one was showing the years and needed to be replaced. Would I typically spend the asking price for this towel? Heck. No. Do I think it's worth the asking price? Check back in about 5 years to see if it's lasted. I'll update if it fails me. I took a couple of quick pics, then gave it a machine wash and dry, using the hottest temps I could for both. It's huge - bonus points for that. Wrapped around my waist, it cinches easily and reaches my ankles. This is pretty much ideal for my shower towel. One side is printed - I'm totally pretending it's the Rocky Horror lips, because we all have our quirks. It's super soft, yet still absorbent after just one wash. The other side is unprinted. It's a bit rougher than the printed side, which I like to dry and invigorate my face after a shower. I'm quite delighted with this upgrade from my previous towel, and hope it lasts as long! This towel is my new go to for the beach. I love its large size but even more I just adore the print. It’s brightly printed and a unique print as well. It’s very soft and has a more velveteen top while the back feels more like a standard towel. The colors are bright and vivid. They really pop with color. I do wash this towel separately just to be on the safe side. The blue and purple are very dark and very bright. I don’t know that it would run on my other clothes but it certainly can’t hurt to have them separated. The towel becomes even softer after multiple wash/dry cycles.
