For reference, I have a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I’ve tried one other jump starter similar to this, and this one is better in almost every way. I’ve always kept a small emergency kit in my trunk with jumper cables, a flashlight, and other essentials, but after using this, I’m convinced that a jump starter should be in everyone’s car emergency kit- though it requires remembering to bring it back in the house to check that it's charged every other month or so. Considering the price and performance, I highly recommend this one. The only area where my other jump starter "wins" is size—this one is bulkier. But given its larger battery capacity, that trade-off makes sense. My car battery is on its last legs and currently hooked up to a trickle charger, so I’ve had several opportunities to test this jump starter before reviewing it. After fully charging the device— which didn’t take long with my 45W super-fast phone charger—it was able to jump-start my car four times and still had about half its battery remaining. The only minor complaint is that it doesn’t display an exact battery percentage, just a circular indicator that gives a rough idea of the remaining charge. Before ordering this, I already had two tire inflators with digital PSI gauges and a set of external TPMS sensors that attach to the tire valves. The problem? All three gave different readings, and I had no way of knowing which was accurate. When I used this device to inflate my tires, its PSI readings matched my external TPMS sensors. Since two out of four of my digital gauges now agree—including this one—I’m trusting those as the more accurate measurements. Another small but important detail is the included storage case, which keeps everything organized and helps protect accessories like the air nozzles. It also has a built-in flashlight that works fine, though I haven’t needed it beyond verifying that it turns on. It can flash SOS in Morse code, which could be useful in an emergency. Value: The current price of this 5000A car jump starter/air compressor kit is $19.89 USD. If it were still in stock at this price, I’d buy several as gifts for family members. The media could not be loaded. I’m a big fan of these Jump Starters and I'm being using them as well for a while, and its versatility and practicality is well worth to consider. I usually carry in all my cars cable jumpers, (or a jump starter), a portable small 12V air-compressor and a flashlight, as part of my roadside essentials kits; and now this device combines all 4 essential functions in one single, practical and useful package, so is perfect to save space, especially in my weekend convertible car, -which doesn’t have too much trunk storage anyway. The jump start came partially charged but not at full capacity, so keep it connected overnight to top off at 100% capacity. I have the opportunity to test it recently, when my friend asked me to jump start his old classic car that was kept in storage for a while, and it worked as advertised. Also filled up all 4 tires of his car (maybe 3 psi at each tire) and the air compressor also performed well, raising pressure of tires surprisingly fast in a shorter time than I was expected, it was a old ‘muscle’ midsize car. The nice feature of adding a flashlight in the jump-starter and a USB port to charge cellphones are clever add-ons and very useful. Also, I like the digital display and the preset capabilities and auto-shutoff of the air compressor super convenient to fill car’s tires to the exact recommended pressure. The included carry-on case with separate areas for the air compressor accessories (hose, nozzles and tips) as well as the cables for the jumps tarter helps to keep all organized and stored in one single place is very convenient and keep all accessories in one place, at hand and ready for use. Overall, with a claimed 5000A peak current capacity, it has enough juice to easily jump start almost every size of the most common gas or diesel engines. It also includes several ‘built-in’ safety protections for jump starting, so is easy to use and even my wife feels comfortable using it. Is a lot easier than using the classic, old method of connecting two vehicles with long wires for jump start. For sure I’m adding one of these multi-function devices to each roadside kits that I keep in all of my household cars. I bought this in September 2025 to keep in my car after getting stranded in an "emergency situation". I have used both the "jumpstart" and "air compressor" function 1 time since I've had it. I followed the manufacturer's instructions and would recharge it once a month to ensure it always had a full charge. Well last weekend I was on a trip and got a nail in my tire in the middle of nowhere. I wasn't worried though cause I had a patch kit and my compressor. I didn't even think to test the compressor before I pulled the nail and plugged the tire which lets all the air out of the tire. When I went to inflate the tire back up the compressor started for just a split second and then nothing. The unit wouldn't turn back on or anything. So I thought maybe it didn't have enough juice even though I keep it charged to 100%. So I plugged it into my car charger and the jump pack said it had 99% charge. After plugging it back in the unit would power on but once it's in inflate mode and you press the power button to turn the compressor on it just shuts off and won't power back on until you plug it back into the charger.I ended up having to call AAA and waiting 3 hrs for a tow truck to show up. I'm really upset because it's past the 30 day return window but I only used it once since I bought it. It was practically new. I see this same problem on other reviews of this product and I guess I should of done more homework on this product before purchasing. Read more
