These battery clamps are heavy duty and well made. The pure copper construction ensures excellent conductivity for jump starting. The 4 inch jaw opening is wide enough for most battery terminals. The spring tension is strong and they grip securely without slipping off. The insulated handles provide good protection. I bought this to replace a broken jumper box clamp and it works good. I'm not a metallurgical expert, but this is the most yellowish copper I've ever seen. I put a picture of the clamp and the cable connector. To me the connector looks like pure copper, not the clamp. It was cheep and it does work, so I'm happy. Read more
These jumper clamps are great. The jaws open enough to clamp down on terminal posts. My only issue was that the gap to attach your cable on the handle will not fit a 3/8 lug. I had to make modifications to a smaller lug so that it can fit properly. To enhance this product, I would like to see the removable grips with a more textured feel. I use gloves and these have slipped out of my hands a few times. Read more
