I bought this for my daughter to keep in her trunk. She already uses my DeWalt drill for her DIY projects, so she knows how to swap the batteries. What I like most is the ""spark-free"" design. She was always terrified of traditional jumper cables because of the sparks, but this setup feels much safer and more controlled. I’ll be honest, I didn't think a 20V power tool battery had the guts to crank a V6 engine. I bought this more as a ""science experiment."" Well, I was wrong. The pure copper 8AWG core really delivers the current. My truck's battery was sitting at 10.2V, and as soon as I clipped these on with a 5Ah DeWalt battery, it roared to life. Most jumper cables are a tangled mess in the trunk, but this set comes in a really nice, rugged storage case. It’s compact enough that I can keep it under the seat or in the side pocket. I’m not a ""car person,"" but the color-coded clamps made it super easy to use when my SUV wouldn't start in the grocery store parking lot. The 2-foot length was just enough to reach from where I set the battery down to the terminals. It’s a huge relief knowing I have this backup. Read more
