These are pretty cool. I have a couple cars that I don’t use on a day-to-day basis. This is good insurance for when the battery is a little lower than needed to start. It uses a dewalt 20v battery and has no problem getting things started. Much easier than carrying jumpers around. First, it’s NOT a Clore JNC660 equivalent, or similar full-size made-for-purpose jumper/booster. It uses a 20v DeWalt power tool battery (the version I bought) on a 12v vehicle system. There are NO SAFETY FEATURES built in to this simple adapter to protect circuitry and components of a vehicle electrical system. As such, you can potentially do as much harm as good if you don’t follow the instructions. It’s made for short term use only, and depending on how bad your vehicle battery is may not work. BUT, when you turn the key and get no start, it gives you a good chance to get going IF you also have remembered to keep the power tool battery charged that you’re using with this adapter. I have Clores and/or NOCOs in my vehicles, but got this for my SxS 4 wheeler as I always have power tools/batteries with me when at my lease and this is small to pack. It worked good to bump start another person’s ATV that the battery was too run down to turn over. I used a 5aH DeWalt 20v battery. Yes, I could put a NOCO in not much more space and never worry about electronics damage but I can also hand this over to others to use with a lot less getting it back in useable condition anxiety… It’s a very simple worked/didn’t work device…..IF you use it as directed… Read more

WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. I just used this for the 1st time to try and jump start my uncles car. It absolutely destroyed my 3ah dewalt battery. My battery was fully charged and only 3 months old and it absolutely wrecked the battery. Instantly as soon as my uncle turned the key it drained the battery so low the light wouldn't even come on the battery. Tried putting the battery on the charger and nothing, no hot cold delay no lights at all. I waited an hour tried again and now it does a really fast double blink. My charger doesn't even have a quick double blink on the key so I have no idea how it's even doing it. Maybey it would work if u used a very large 9ah or 12ah battery but who wants to gamble a battery that costs hundreds of dollars for a 20 dollar product. I'm pretty annoyed because I'm a maintenance man by trade and I use my dewalt battery's everyday so losing an almost brand new battery In an instant really sucks. Read more
