I really loved these paint pens! The dual tips—brush and fine—make it easy to do both detailed designs and larger fills, and the colors are bright and bold on everything I’ve tried: wood, canvas, rocks, glass, and fabric. The ink flows smoothly and dries quickly without smudging. Perfect for DIY projects, scrapbooking, or just getting creative, and it makes a great gift for any art lover. Read more
we got the 72 pack, they are very nice and definetly worth the price, they do chip a little bit even when using them on a sketchbook that's made for paint, they do layer good and the colours are very nice, you can kinda blend them if they are still wet when mixing colours on the page Read more
Very happy with this purchase. Great variety in colors and the quality is very good for the price. Use them in my sketchbook all the time. Recommend them 100% and would buy them again in a heartbeat. It would make a great gift for any art lover of any level. Read more
I was pleasantly surprised by these markers. They are easy to use; the markers are smooth in hand. They function as advertised - both tips work as they should. However, it should be noted that the both tips do NOT show the same saturation of color. When testing colors, the markers flowed nicely without being too juicy. One marker was on the dry side (as seen in the picture) to start, but started to flow smoother the more I used it. Overall, these are worth the price. I would recommend them for anyone wanting to start using acrylic paint markers to get a feel for how they work. Read more
I’ll start by saying that the only issues I’ve come across so far are purely cosmetic: scratches on some pens & flimsy, broken plastic from the pen holders (not the main container). HOWEVER, these issues do NOT hinder the quality or performance of the pens whatsoever. Right off the bat, I did colour swatches both on the sheet of bristol paper included as well as my own piece of toned paper, and saw that these are incredibly vibrant & opaque just from one stroke. Unlike Poscas, you don’t have to shake the pens or press down to get the paint to flow, and they are ready to be used right out of the box. From my experience in using these, they are extremely effortless. My minor degree is currently in Fine Arts and I was an AP Design student in high school, and I’ve always found colouring + line art to be a long, arduous process with Poscas, dealing with bleed through, long drying process, intensive layering, etc. Though with these, they dry almost immediately and I find I don’t have to constantly layer as I would have with Poscas. These *do* work best when you do a few coats, but look just as vibrant on a base level. At first, I was worried about how different colours would layer, especially placing a lighter value colour atop a darker value colour (yellow on top of red, for example). However, it was shockingly smooth. I only had to do one or two layers for the lighter value to hold its colour. I also noticed that again, unlike Poscas, paint doesn’t cake up in certain spots creating a bumpy texture. These pens are smooth all around, and I assume they’ll stay that was as long as you take care of the pens properly. As seen by my drawing attachment below, the finish on these paint pens is matte and the vibrancy & flushness makes the drawing pop out of the page, and it reminded me of a comic book style. Overall, if you’re in between these, Poscas, or some other brand, you might get the most bang for your buck with these pens. Read more
These are really great Acrylic Paint Makers. They have great control with the two tips and are fun to use. I absolutely love the variety of colors. I have not tried them out on multiple surfaces but on Craft Paper they have been a delight. To get a more opaque tone on the craft paper- especially if I am coloring over a previous color or other alcohol based markers I will have to go over the area a couple of times. Compared to a previous set of acrylic pain Markers these are a delight to use. I did not think I would ever try Acrylic Markers again after the problems I had with that first set from a different company but these JusArt markers have won me over completely. I actually purchased these based on a recommendation from the artist Genna Blackburn in her newsletter. Read more
