This is a very strong, well mounted pull-up bar that will last for generations. The pull-up bar is just long enough to mount the supports on 16" stud centers and still capture the bar with the locking bolts. Read more
Very sturdy. I mounted this to my wall flush with the drywall, screwed into studs. No extra 2x4s outside of the the drywall or anything. It has held up perfectly and doesn't seem to budge. I am 230 lbs and have never felt like it wouldn't support me. Read more
This product is the best wall-mounted Pull up bar offered, in my opinion. The bar itself is heavy duty steel, The welded construction is high quality, and the design provides considerable flexibility. Unlike the other bars, the Jusgym bar features additional accessory attachment points, and for added stability, has four mounting holes and lag bolts for each side - instead of just three, providing the stability I require for intense Pull exersises. IT'S NOT 51" WIDE!!! About 50.75. However, when you are putting this over/arround a 47" wide entry way, and drilling into the Jack/King studs that 1/4 inch MATTERs! Why? I had to pull out the tape measure and really look but the welds on the frame aren't completely straight. Probably doesn't matter if you aren't tight on space and it's pretty hard to notice but it's off. There is NO overlap on the ends. It's literally an exact fit. Haven't decided if I should return it and get a "name brand" that claims to be 52" wide, as if the frictions screws don't hold I'd rather not go for a "trip" to the floor. Read more
