I ordered 2 packs of these thighs on October 16, received it on the 17th, and the "use by date" was Oct. 25. It was good to see that this poultry was very fresh. (Always check the "use by" dates, people!) As for the chicken itself, I was happily surprised to see that it hadn't been stripped of all its goodness: It still had a little fat attached and even a bit of extra skin, (which is where the flavor lives)! The roasted chicken I made turned out juicy and savory with a crispy, beautiful skin, thanks to that. **My only criticism is that these packs of chicken thighs were NOT SHIPPED WITH AN ICE PACK or anything to keep them cold. Raw chicken absolutely MUST be kept at refrigeration temperatures and it should be protected from fluctuating temperatures AT ALL TIMES.** I'd love to order these again and will do so, but I'll have to return them if they arrive warm to the touch. As we all know, no raw poultry is safe in that condition. Read more
