I have bought 3 of these for various rooms throughout my house. They add a nice, natural, textural element to the spaces. They hold a couple of loads of laundry each, and are easy to carry. They're far more attractive than the mesh hamper I was using and the handles are comfortable. I haven’t experienced any odors from manufacturing, and they stand up well on their own. This jute laundry basket was the exact right side and color for our baby nursery. I wanted something low key with handles that I could carry to the laundry and dump right into the machine. This holds a good amount of baby clothes, I haven’t gone this long yet but I would say 2 weeks worth of daytime and night time clothes. It is durable, good quality material and the shape nice too.
