Why did you pick this product vs others?: So I saw a style like this on a designer website for $1395. and of course I’m not a famous wealthy person so I try to find something that is similar to the design. This was very very close and it is beautiful but it is made weird on the top it is laced all the way to the waist, then from the waist down it is a attached zipper so it was difficult to put on . I love the style and design of this dress, it really is beautifully made, and has so many little details to its construction that you just don’t get in lower priced dresses. So that being said, I do think that the price is right, and it is a good value for the money. The fabric is not suede, it’s a suede like soft material that has a nice weight to it. The dress does get take some getting used to to put it on, but once it’s on, it looks great and shapes the right places. It is very short, however I don’t see any reason why tights or Stockings can’t be worn with this. To me it fits true to size, although depending on how tight you want to cinch the laces, you can make it slightly bigger or tighten it up if it is too big. Due to its construction I wouldn’t say this piece has much versatility however the styling options with this are pretty good. Read more

I really wanted to love this, but the proportions on it were just wrong. I have a fairly "average" torso that fits most garments with out any sort of tailoring. But this was too long in the torso, and then had awkward placement of the zipper in the front so that it created an incredibly unflattering bulge. The sleeves were too long as well. I think I'm going to cut the laces and zipper out, and simply wear it as a coat. That should work. But as a it is, it's honestly unwearable, even though I love the concept of it, and the color is beautiful in person. Read more
