I liked the dimensions of this unit, narrow enough elbow pads to get comfortable, doesnt take up too much room (26" wide, 35"deep), adjustable height without getting ridiculously tall. Thought it was a bit flimsy at first and I only weight 160 lbs. So looked at tightening some screws more and concluded that the last step (12) is crucial for more stability - put those last bolts and caps in from right to left as shown in instructions. This helped the adjustable portion be more stable. For a 200 lb or more person, definitely invest in something more heavy duty though. The big pluses on this for me besides the dimensions was the multiple grip pull up capability, dip bars, and back pad for ab crunches. Read more
Better than nothing but a lil shaky for a 190lb guy, probably perfect for teenagers but not hardened felons. Not bad for the price at all. Read more
Easy to build (20min), sturdy. Versatile for a lot of different body weight exercises. No moving parts, power, or maintenance to deal with. I’m at full height extension and feel comfortable it’s not falling over (free standing / not attached to anything) Get a couple sets (9$) of foam 1” handlebars grips to go over the included ones for dip and the pull up - otherwise the grips are basically the same as just holding metal poles. (And 1” is a bit of a thin pipe / higher pressure on palm after lots of reps) Read more
My primary reason for purchasing this was to use it to hang from the pull-up bar and stretch my back, with the other features being am added bonus. Due to some of the reviews, I was initially skeptical about ordering this. I decided to take a chance based on the price, how quickly it said it would arrive to me, and the fact that it said there were free returns. I ran into two issues that I feel are significant to note. One of those issues I'm guessing is not extremely common, but the opening to one of the main frames where the auxiliary tube is supposed to connect inside was slightly bent/misshapen so the auxiliary tube was EXTREMELY difficult to get to fit inside. I was determined to make it work and kept messing with it until I got it to finally fit.... but not without a significant pinching on my hand in the process which did not feel good. The other issue is the main reason for giving this 3 stars versus 5..... only TWO of the 19 pieces were marked to differentiate them apart. The 2 pieces that were marked were the 2 that look most similar to each other, so that made sense, but it still seemed weird to me. HOWEVER.... there were 32 screws in total, which were comprised of 8 different sizes, and all within one box. It would've been a HUGE help to speed up the process of putting this together if they would've been separated and marked. Most were fairly easy to determine where they went, but I initially got #7 and #10 mixed up. Again, having these marked would've really sped up the construction process. After putting it together I went back and marked the screw heads for future reference in the event I need to disassemble this, so this issue won't occur again. I finished putting this together only minutes ago. So far I've only tested out the pull-up bar by hanging from it to stretch my back, but I'm happy to report that it seems to be quite sturdy and overall good quality. Read more

If it's too good to be true, it usually is. However, we didn't think it took much to construct a pull up bar with a dip station to it. Alas, we were wrong. Aside from the fact that the instruction manual left us using common sense and the overall image in Amazon to construct the product in 3.5 hrs., the product is unstable for pull ups and dips. Only when doing leg lifts did the product seem secure. We tried using the product in different locations even though the floor it was constructed on is level. But nope. it sways side to side when performing a pull up or dip. It shouldn't be that way. In fact, that's how someone will get hurt. Don't waste your time or money on this product. Get something a little bit more structurally sound. Oh, speaking of which, our particular box came with one support bar for the base that was too short to be used...like 2" inches too short. Oh well....lesson learned. Now I need to get some sand bags to keep ti stable. Read more
