If you looking for a high-quality laptop stand this isn’t it. However, if you want a basic laptop stand that has strong construction and, a simple yet universal design stand that is a great price this is it. The stand works with holding 1 or multiple laptops, & works with horizontal or vertical orientation, this is your stand. The only issue I have is there is no spring action to “clip” the laptop, which is what I was hoping for. All in all good product for the price. Read more
Works great on my large laptops. I've got a Thinkpad P17 (17" CAD workstation laptp roughly 1.75" thick) in it on my desk. I tested it with all my large and small laptops (from 13" to 17.3") and the adjustable clamp automatically grabs the laptop. The design uses the weight of the laptop pressing on the base to hold the clamps closed, (instead of relying on a spring) so the heavier laptops make more clamping force to hold them in place. Great value for the price and the plastic material isn't scratching up the finish on my laptops. Read more

The two sides snap onto each other in the center and form a hinge in such a way that when you put the weight of the laptop into the holder, it pulls the sides together to hold tightly. The broad base makes it unlikely that it would tip easily, but a sufficient bump could knock it over. Good for temporary space saving storage. Read more
