The media could not be loaded. For $7 you really can't go wrong. I bought a similar set about a year for about the same price and there were barely any tools in the set and they all broke after the first use. These tools are a very good set for the money. I was able to disassemble my macbook pro, and was pleasantly surprised when I went to teardown a kindle that the plastic pry tools didn't break as I would have expected with the amount of force I needed to use. The plastic spudger tools safely pry open housings without damage - there are a variety of thicknesses in these tools so if one doesn't fit you can try a thinner one and then use the thicker to complete. You also have the ability to put one in place after prying open a little and then get another in place to give yourself more leverage. .Another pleasant surprise was that the tips of the screw-drivers & torx tools were slightly magnetic so the screws don't get dropped easily and stay put as you go to screw them in. These are non-ratcheting screwdriver but all the driver tools are easy to operate one-handed with their smoothly spinning endcaps which allow. you to apply constant pressure while turning. i do with the enclosure was more than the flimsy plastic -I am pretty sure most of these tools will quickly wind up in a pouch with some of my other tools because I don't think the case will last long at all. It seems like a display case not an actual storage case. These tools are only $5-$10 depending on where you get them -so they aren't meant to be lifelong tools. For their price they are great and served my purposes but are probably not a good buy for a shop that might be suing them on a daily basis. For the occasional repair job they will get the job done and the tweezers and plastic spatulas are of great quality. I am happy with my purchase and consider them an excellent value for the money! A nice set of tools for working on electronics. I chose this set for an inexpensive, well-reviewed option to get Torx sizes I didn't already own. Notably, I needed to dismantle a Seagate Enterprise HDD, which now uses three sizes of Torx (previously only one larger size). That was the T6, the T4, and a larger size not included in this set. Both screwdrivers worked very well, no problems or damage to the tips. I noted with surprise some other reviewers complaining about the tools deforming or breaking. The drivers seemed solid to me, and they're meant for working with electronics and small components. If you're trying to force-leverage anything in this context, you're doing it wrong (aka "user error"). Pay attention to using the right size, too small a Torx can damage the tip of a cheap driver when it spins around in the opening. . The plastic pieces may be flimsier of course, and the Kaisi product insert notes they've improved/strengthened those items recently. Also I'd like to have a storage case rather than the fitted plastic tray in which the tools were packaged, but for this price (currently seven bucks), it's really hard to complain. A good, inexpensive choice for infrequent use. Recommended. Read more

This kit helped me fix my own Galaxy S4 and an iPhone 6s. I recommend this if you need tools for one or two casual fixes to a phone, or just want a cheap kit to start DYI-ing fixes on your phone . The quality is overall good. The tweezers kinda got bent a bit, so not the sturdiest - this bent keeps me from holding small stuff like I need to, it's a bit annoying but I'm willing to let it pass for the price point. The blade can come out of its place EASILY (Just grab it and slide it out), and it moves around - I consider the moving around more of a feature, since it can give you good angles and it does hold the blade in place Pros: - Very cheap and has most tools you'll need for fixing any phone, tablet or computer (except a big regular screwdriver for the outside screws of a PC) - Its built quality is good. Specially for this price point. The screwdrivers are very sturdy and MAGNETIZED, which is nice and it helps a lot, specially with the tiny bastards that these screws are lol. Trust me, you need a magnetized screwdriver set - It comes in a box to keep the tools in, that is organized. It's a plastic tray inside a box, but it's helpful that it at least organizes a bit on its own - The blue plastic 'priers' (the long ones) have an angle and edge so you can get a lever and actually pry the phone (etc.) open easier, which is a nice touch - The color coding on the screwdrivers helps know which is which without having to go through all of them one by one Cons: - At this price point, expect this to last a good while if you take care of it, but the plastic pieces will definitely wear out after some time, but not become unusable (so it seems at this point, I will update this later on) - The plastic parts feel and are cheap, but they're good enough to get the job done It would be nice if this kit included double-sided tape or glue. I'd be willing to pay a few extra bucks for this if it included that 4.3 stars because of the tweezers getting bent so easily and the plastic pieces' edges wearing out a bit on the first uses Read more
