Best investment for my home theatre setup yet (besides the TV). Hooked this up with Jellyfin to provide a Media Server that multiple devices can connect to for video streaming (including Roku and Amazon Fire). Threw in an additional NVME hard drive. Works perfectly. System is fast, lots of storage, WiFi connection worked out of the box, Windows pre-installed, Numerous USB ports to allow multiple devices. The system itself feels well designed and built. Included power supply is only 65 watts! The downside, I was putting on screws for the VESA Mount and one of them sheered off. Wasn't even tightening it down. Now, I have a screw body stuck in it and cannot use the VESA Mount. I'll have to 3D Print a holder for it now. That's why the loss of 1 star. Read more

I have had this unit for about a week and have finally gotten all the software loaded. The Good: Fast, Quite, Cool. The Bad: Graphics on my CAD program are a little choppy, ACCEPTABLE, but not as smooth as my last system which had a very good Graphics card. More Good: The computation on the CAD program are lightning fast. I do not see any choppiness on programs like Doom. This is a keeper! Read more

this computer is 100% horrible. Do not buy it. It is not meant for any type of gaming or basic things. It literally decides to turn off and go black when I play Roblox it can’t even handle Sims three or Sims four without any expansion packs. It’s truly a horrible computer. I would not waste your money. Read more

I was careful to pick the right mini-pc that would have decent everyday performance and good cooling. So far THIS computer has done great. I ran several handbrake encode tests and saw no throttling from overheating. Playback of media files all the way up to 4K x265 and AV1 works great. Occasionally I'll find a file where the bitrate is just too high but this is rare. For just a few dollars more I could have upgraded to a faster CPU and more ram but again my worry was too much heat. I found a good promo code on techbargains so I was able to score mine for $219. I tried having a strong fan blowing across the vents to see if I got a boost in fps during my encode tests but saw little difference. At this price point you are getting older generation laptop hardware but that doesn't mean it won't perform well provided you have at least 16GB of ram. Just to be safe I placed the box on a passive laptop cooler and bought an extended warranty. The PC is the size of a small paperback novel with good transfer speeds over USB 3.0 of around 300 MB/s using windows explorer. Running Teracopy slows transfers down greatly to 65 MB/s but you get the CRC check. I often back up my movies to HDD to watch later without adding wear and tear on my UB820. This little computer plays the files just fine. Costs the same as a Nvidia Shield but has way more functionality. Finally I have not had one problem with W11 Pro or any updates. Not a fan of some of the W11 changes so I installed classic shell. Read more

Update 11/2025 Since I posted my original review, the seller has updated the specs on Amazon, and corrected the original error in the specs. They reached out to me proactively, to check out the corrected specs. Now they have removed mention of an included NVMe SSD, which was the original issue. The PC does comes with a SATA SSD. As a result, I am raising this review to 5 stars. It is a useful small PC: with a Ryzen 5 CPU, and my version came with 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz, which is more than most mini PCs. I do not have sufficient longer-term experience with the PC to comment on its longevity, but will update later if warranted. Once again I have to commend their customer service - it has been stellar. Original review: I recently purchased this mini pc Ryzen 5 7430. It was listed as having a 512GB NVMe SSD. Unfortunately, the unit I received came with a SATA SSD, a technology which is very significantly slower. So, I reached out to the seller to check if they had sent the wrong model. However, they admitted that this model does NOT come with an NVMe SSD, but with a SATA version and that the spec is incorrect. Obviously I returned the unit, but I wanted to highly this problem for other potential buyers. Also, their customer service said they had instructed the marketing dept, to correct the spec. This was 12 days ago, yet the specs still lists an NVMe SSD. I understand that errors can occur, but given that this seller has still not corrected this error, leads me to wonder if this was just an inadvertent error, or an intentional misleading. Further, it is noteworthy that the RAM is on the slow side. The speed reported by BIOS and Windows is 3200MHz. This is DDR4 which today typically comes in speeds of 4000-4400MHz. As a final note, their customer service was responsive and knowledgeable. Kudos to them. However they were not in a position to fix the problem, though they offered a $30 discount. Purchasing a replacement NVMe drive, plus my time in finding a windows image, creating bootable media, and installing a fresh copy of windows on the new drive -- all of that would not have been covered by the offered $30 discount.
