I got these for my daughter since she was looking for a pair of black slacks for work. She's normally a 6, but we went down a size based on comments in the reviews and the fact that they are a bit stretchy. She is very happy with them. According to her, they move with her without binding and are comfortable standing in for an 8-hour shift. She wouldn't normally wear a boot-cut like this, but she wanted something that wasn't binding at he nakles given she would be moving around a lot in them. They're a bit expensive for what she needs, but you're paying for the quality and the brand - mostly the brand. These are well made and are fairly subtle, standard pants. Fit is a bit true to size to slightly large given the stretch. Cut is pretty much exactly as shown in the photos. Gives off a bit of TV detective vibes so wasn't really the look I was going for, but in the right job or use case, these would be great. Fair price given the quality and brand. Read more
These black slacks are more on the luxury end of the spectrum. Obviously, they are Karl Lagerfeld, very well-known, famous celebrity designer. The price is justified not only because of the brand, but because of the quality. They are exceptionally well made. The material is 76% polyester, 17% viscose/rayon, and 7% elastane/spandex. So, there's a good little amount of stretch to them, but not too much. They FEEL expensive and luxe. They're nice and thick. They're bootcut style. The sizing, I can't speak to it too much because I was unable to get the size that I really wanted. I had to go with what was available to me. I got the size 6, I normally would've gotten a 4. Just by seeing how the 6s fit me, I think the 4s would've been perfect. In all, these are an excellent pair of dress slacks. High-end, excellent quality, fair price. Read more
These pants are well-made, comfortable, and stylish. The only downside was the sizing. I wear an 8, and these size 8s were really big on me (see pictures). I think part of the issue is just my body shape… I tend to hold weight in my hips and behind, not in my stomach and waist. The pants actually seemed OK at my hips… Just huge at my waist. I’m disappointed, because these are great pants, and I was looking forward to wearing them. The good news for buyers is that there’s a free return policy, so they can try a few sizes. Read more
These pants are a nice lightweight, business casual addition to your wardrobe. These pants have a button with 2-hook closure along with the zipper. They have a feel of sophistication but are soft and comfortable. I feel they are true to size but they are longer than I expected which can easily be fixed by wearing a higher heeled or wedged shoe/sandal. The material does not seem to wrinkle easily once on or while sitting for long periods of time. The one thing I did not like is my back pockets are both sewn shut. As a teacher, I put my phone in my back pocket and having this feature is essential to me. I haven’t messed around with them enough to see if I can take the stitching out without compromising the pants (I removed a star because I’m unsure why pockets would be added and then sewn shut). These pants are low waisted, which I did not know when I got them. I have a bigger bum, and there was a gap in the back once I put them on. I got a size 8 and they were pretty long, but would be great with heels. I would say they are true to size. The material is soft and the hardware (buttons) are nice quality. Read more
These pants are on the higher end price-wise of what I normally find on Amazon, but they're worth every penny. They're incredibly soft and so well cut -- they're quite flattering. The zippers, buttons and seams and all top quality as well. The material is incredibly soft and comfortable. They're the perfect weight for the office and would be comfortable in any season. These are a very nice pair of trousers! I would say you should size up slightly (it was too tight across the front on me for it to be true to size). The fabric is of good quality and the color was spot-on. They are comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. I'm 5'10" so I would love to have an option in "tall" sizes, but for a pair of regular pants they were an appropriate length. Read more
