I love a moto jacket and have several in my collection, and this one fits in perfectly. It has a boucle like or knitted/woven type texture on the outside with a lined interior, which gives it a really nice feel and structure. It’s a true medium weight, not too thick and not too thin. On a cool (but not cold) day, you can wear this on its own without needing additional outerwear and still feel comfortable both indoors and out. The fabric is black, but because of the texture it isn’t flat or boring like some black jackets can be. I really like the silver hardware and zippers, which add a great contrast and elevate the overall look. The strap detail at the end of the sleeves adds an extra style element that makes it feel more intentional and polished. The sleeves are long, but not too long that they look messy. But I like that they’re not short like some jackets can be in this style. this jacket looks expensive but doesn’t break the bank with the pricing. This jacket looks great worn open or zipped up. It works just as well for casual wear as it does for a more business-appropriate look, which I really appreciate. I ordered my usual size and the fit is spot on. It hits right at the waist and is very comfortable to wear. For me, this jacket is all pros and no cons. It’s very stylish, well made, and this brand usually delivers when it comes to design and this jacket is no exception. Read more

This is a great looking jacket for looking great outdoors. It is too thick and honestly does not appear to be crafted as an indoor jacket. We need nice looking jackets for going to professional events though so I am not knocking it for the title. Walking outside for fresh air, through a parking lot, or just strolling in the park and looking good on a cool day. This is wonderful, I know I do not want to get all dressed up for a work event and then put on a black puffer jacket. The sizing is a bit small though. I am normally in between a large and an XL, I always go a bit larger for jackets. This fits nicely and zips great if I am standing tall. But if I need to carry anything, like a computer bag, it definitely is a bit uncomfortable. So in that case I go to a suitcase style. In true fashion style, it looks great but not always thinking of functionality. It is definitely a beautiful piece to own though. Read more

This is a beautifully constructed piece and very much what I expect from Karl Lagerfeld in terms of quality and design. The fabric has a substantial weight and a textured finish that feels polished and structured rather than soft or flimsy. While it’s labeled as a suiting jacket, it honestly wears more like a lightweight winter coat. It’s noticeably warmer than expected and would be best suited for cold weather rather than mild fall days. The fit is clean and tailored without feeling restrictive, and the asymmetrical zipper with gold-tone hardware gives it a modern, slightly edgy look. It works equally well dressed up with workwear or paired casually with jeans. The lining is smooth, the pockets are functional, and overall it feels like a piece that will hold its shape over time. It is dry clean only, which is worth noting, but that’s not unusual for a garment of this quality. This jacket also reminded me why I like this brand—I actually have a Karl Lagerfeld dress tucked away that I haven’t worn in years, and this piece may be the push I needed to pull it back out of the closet. Pros: • Excellent construction and high-end feel • Warm, substantial fabric (great for winter) • Stylish asymmetrical zipper and polished hardware • Versatile enough for work or casual wear • Holds its shape and looks expensive Cons: • Heavier and warmer than expected for a “jacket” • Dry clean only • May feel too warm for transitional seasons Overall, a very classy and well-made piece. Just go in knowing it leans more toward winter outerwear than a light suiting jacket. Read more

This jacket is thicker than I was expecting and is useful as outerwear for cold weather. It is roomy enough to wear over sweaters, though that will make it look a little bulky. The zipper runs smoothly and the details are beautiful. I love the style, length, and weave of this jacket. However, due to the larger weave the edges don't look quite as tidy. This isn't much of a problem when it's new, but it may start to look a little frayed and worn more quickly than a neater edge would. In addition, the jacket is dry clean only. The cream color may get dingy, particularly around the cuffs due to the longer sleeves, and cleaning or stain treating isn't a quick and easy at home process. Dry cleaning isn't a deal breaker for me because it is a nice quality coat. Overall, I love the jacket. It fits well and looks good. The style is classy and it will go with a variety of outfits. This is my first tweed item. I wasn't expecting it to be soft, but it is! It is so lovely!! It fits well and I love that you can dress it up or down and it looks great. The cuffs are a little weighted and the zipper is smooth. This is a good quality garment. Dry clean only though. Read more

The quality of this jacket is really impressive. The construction of this jacket is structured enough that it could be worn as a suiting jacket as the name suggests, but the material is thick enough that it could be worn as a light outdoor styled jacket as well. And the inside is properly lined for outdoor wear as well. I love the gold hardware on the black jacket, it gives nice pop of color. I'm really happy with the look of the jacket. However, I would recommend sizing down. I normally wear a size small and there is so much extra room on me. I am 5'4" and 125 pounds. I could've easily ordered a size extra small and been much more comfortable with the fit. Read more
