Karl Lagerfeld Womens Pull on Rhinestone Sparkle Denim

There is no size chart on the listing for these rhinestone sparkle jeans from Karl Lagerfeld, either at the time that I ordered or at the time of writing. I ordered a size 12 for my wife because she has several dresses by Karl Lagerfeld in size 12 that fit her very well. Unfortunately, she definitely needs at LEAST one size down in these pants. She has a 34" waist and 36" hips, and the 12 is very roomy and, sadly, unflattering. She has some butt pads that she used to try and fill out the rear and I think that looked fine, although she was nervous about it looking unnatural. Unfortunately, even with the butt pads, the thighs were far too thicc for her (she has an ~19" thigh circumference. The pants do seem to be excellent quality, and my wife mentioned that the style of them was giving her Selena vibes. The denim itself is not sparkly; I wasn't sure if it would be because glitter often doesn't show up well in product photos, but no, the rhinestones that go up and down the sides of the legs are the sole source of sparkle. My wife is a trans woman who has been on HRT for about a year but only recently started progesterone, so she has not had her body fat redistribute much at all yet compared to before she started transitioning after the age of 40. Maybe we'll hold onto these and see what a year on progesterone does, but I suspect these might be going in the donate pile. These jeans are absolutely stunning in person and the rhinestone details are even better than I expected. They add such a glamorous touch without being too over the top. However I really wish I had known to size down because they do run significantly big. They have a ton of stretch to em which makes them incredibly comfortable but also means they fit much looser than a standard pair. I found myself pulling them up more than I would like. If you are debating between sizes I would highly recommend going with the smaller one for the best fit. Despite the sizing issue they are still a gorgeous pair of pants that I love wearing. For reference, I am 5'6", ~175lbs, typically wear a size 10 or M/L depending on the brand. I ordered these in a 10 and they fit perfectly for my booty and thighs, but the waist is too big. I do have a little bit of an apron belly, but even with that filling some space, it's still a bit loose across the front and waist. Sizing down would potentially be too tight though since I do have thick thighs. They are super cute, so once it's the season to wear them, I will take them to get the waist taken in a bit (probably with some darts). If you have a flatter stomach and generally slimmer thighs, I think you could probably go a size down in these. If you have a bit of junk in the trunk, I think normal size is fine, but again, you may have similar issues that I did with fit. Very comfortable. Good amount of stretch. Didn't seem to have an issue with baggy knees after wearing for a few hours. Style is a bit different than what I would typically wear, but I like them. It would be very cute for a date night or night out with the girls. Wear appropriate undergarments - they are a bit see through if you are wearing the wrong color. I find red or the perfect nude for your skin tone to be invisible. I was wearing black when I tried them on, and you could easily see it.
