I originally wanted to order this dress in Black, but they were out of my size. So I took a gamble and ordered the Pink color. In no way, shape or form could I ever feel let down. This is SUCH a lovely dress!!!! It’s simple, feminine and so beautifully crafted. Everything from the jeweled collar to the way the bodice of the dress accentuates a woman’s body, is just perfect! The color itself is very pleasant to look at. It is a soft Pink. Somewhere between a Baby Pink, and Ballet Slipper. The color alone makes finding a matching shoe so incredibly easy. I found the cutest pair of satin Mary Jane’s to go with this dress, and I am honestly tickled about this outfit! The collar has the most darling row of Rhinestones and Pearls. It really adds flair to the dress, but not in an overdramatic way. The dress itself hangs beautifully on the body. The bottom of the dress hits right above the knee, and has the perfect swing and movement. I do have a bigger stomach and bottom, but you would not be able to tell with the way this dress was put together. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this dress. It would be beautiful for Easter, a wedding, or any special occasion you could think of. I really enjoy the fact that Karl Lagerfeld continued on with the same quality and consistency as Chanel offers, but at a much more affordable price point. If you are looking for a cute and stylish dress, look no further. You won’t be disappointed!!! Read more

I am absolutely obsessed with the style. I haven't had any Karl Lagerfeld dresses before and understand the lasting quality of the brand designs and chicness now. The puff sleeves and A line silhouette give it such a polished, feminine shape, but the real standout is the embellished collar. The shiny contrasting fabric paired with the beautifully placed pearl beading makes it feel elevated and designer. It truly looks special and thoughtfully made. My only wish is that the dress were not fully polyester, as a different fabric would make it feel even more luxurious for the price. Still, the design and detailing make it a standout piece in any wardrobe. I really like having it on hand for being in my office and office events. I ordered a 4 and have found the brand is true to sizing. Read more
Putting The Pieces Together—February 21, 2026
This is a lovely, fully lined mini dress in a feminine pastel pink. The construction is impressive. The puff sleeves are reinforced with internal satin structures to keep their shape, and the collar embellishments—clear stones in gold settings and pearl beads—look high quality. The gold zipper glides smoothly down, though I recommend being very cautious when zipping it up. For those interested in fit, the flat measurements for a Size 2 are 15 inches bust and 14 inches waist. I measured the neck length at 16 inches and the zipper at 20 inches, which are helpful details not found in the product description. The scuba crepe fabric is much more durable and wrinkle-resistant than standard crepe. While standard crepe is typically a thin, pebbled silk or wool, this scuba version is a thicker double-knit that provides great structure for the A-line shape. The stitching is high quality except for a few long loose threads that I trimmed myself. I purchased this for 148 dollars in January 2025, but the price dropped to 88 dollars just one month later. While the current lower price is a much better value, the massive fluctuation was disappointing for an early buyer. For care, the tag says dry clean only. However, I found that hand washing and line drying works well. For stubborn spots, a light steam with craft paper or a paper grocery bag between the dress and the steamer is very effective. It is a simple dress to tack for quick alterations, making it a great option for school dances. Read more

I tried on quite a few dresses today and this one fit me best by far. It was good reinforcement for my previous experience that this princess seam style is the most flattering cut for my full figure. I got the size 12 based on the size chart and my measurements and it fits perfectly. Me: 145 lbs, 5'7", 38" bust, 34DDD bra, 33" high waist, 37" waist at navel, 42" hips. The fabric really helps this dress hang correctly and look good. It's a stable knit with a crepe face and a smooth back which functions in lieu of a lining. All the details of this dress are well executed. I was able to get the dress on and off only opening the top part of the back zipper. The back neck button loop closure is easy to work. I tried it on with ivory colored flats, it looks good, I think a kitten heel in a luster pearl color with a coordinated clutch would be stunning. I have long hair and when I put this dress on, I thought maybe this is a dress for an updo? Probably, that would show off the shoulder and collar details, rather than covering them with long hair. You know that a dress is really pretty when you try it on and your husband immediately starts talking about wanting to take you out somewhere nice (as happened the first time I wore this dress). I ordered a size 10 and my bust and hips fit comfortably in it. It isn't sheer at all; the fabric is thick yet comfortable, and I love the subtly flowy, layered quality of the skirt. I wasn't sure about the collar, but it's actually very sparkly and cute in person. I wasn't sure about the puffiness of the sleeves, either, but that's also grown on me. It strikes a good balance between elegant and casual. It's slightly less rosy pink and more peachy pink in person than it appeared to me online, but I'm very happy with it overall. It makes me feel pretty. Read more
