These pants are stunning. The fit and tailoring are amazing, and so is the fabric. The style of these pants is so slimming. They fit true to size, but are slightly tighter than my usual size 12s. I normally wear size 12 pants, but I also usually wear pants or jeans with some stretch with them when I'm wearing a size 12. These pants fit me, but they will look perfect when I lose 6-8 more pounds, and I don't think that I will wear them out until that time. I'm actively losing weight, so it shouldn't be too long, I hope! As others have mentioned, the length is a dream for shorter people. I am 5ft 2" tall, and they are the perfect length for me, no tailoring needed! I honestly love everything about these pants. I love the fabric with the slim metallic stripe, the tailored fit, which has a wonderful slimming effect on my silhouette, the perfect length, and the quality, which is going to spoil me for all future pants. At the time of this review, the pants are priced at $129.00, and they are absolutely worth the price. Now that I know how nicely tailored Karl Lagerfeld pants are, I'm going to see what other options they have because I need more pants that look and feel this amazing. These are beautiful pants! The material lays so well and seems to be very wrinkle resistant. Right outbod the package they didn't have those deep wrinkles from shipping that some clothes get. The cut of the fabric is great and these would be an excellent work pant. For me, they did not play well with my apple shape with a shorter thicker torso. These have a very sever cut at the waist. I order the equivalent of a US size 14 which i usually wear and everything fit well besides the waist and upper hip. It was more like a size 10 waist. However, this is the usual fail for me so I am not blaming the pants :) I am blaming it on having kids. The fabric itself is luxurious feeling and has a nice navy color with a very subtle silver glint pin stripe. I have pretty long legs and sometimes order tall sizes, and the bottom of the pant hit right above my ankle. I think they would work well for anyone with normal to to tall sizes. If you have shorter legs then you may want to get them tailored a bit to bring them up to the cropped level. I wish these could have worked for me because they are really nice, but i don't often try this brand so I would say read the size guide thoroughly and order up from the "number size" that you would normally get. I've always loved the look of striped pants, so I was excited to try these. Although, I'll admit I was a little anxious when ordering. This was my first time purchasing anything from Karl Lagerfeld, and I was slightly skeptical about the sizing since designer brands aren't always the most forgiving if you don't have a slim or petite frame. I ordered a size 16, and it fit perfectly. The sizing is truly spot on and the cut is very flattering. The straight-leg goes well with my tall frame, and looks polished without feeling stiff or uncomfortable. These pants feel elevated but still wearable, which is exactly what I look for in pieces like this. I have a holiday event coming up and instead of going with the traditional dress route, I think I might "suit up" and pair these with a black turtleneck bodysuit for a more tailored, chic look. The fabric is a lovely heavier-weight black polyester with a soft, almost cotton-like feel. It has that refined suit-quality drape rather than a slick synthetic one, and the subtle silver-flecked pinstripe adds just enough interest without being flashy. They’re incredibly versatile. The fabric and pattern make them easy to dress up for a holiday party with a sparkly silver top, or style professionally with a crisp button-down and blazer. They hang well, feel structured, and truly elevate an outfit. Sizing-wise, I normally wear an 8–10. I ordered a 10 to be safe, and they fit high-waisted and slightly roomy on me—honestly a flattering fit for this style. An 8 might have worked, but this type of pant looks better with a little ease rather than pulling. For reference, I’m 5'2", and they hit well below my ankle when I’m wearing heels, so they’re definitely not an ankle-length pant on someone petite. These pants are perfect for any upper scale outing, and fit as if they're tailored right out of the package. Runs true to size, came with no loose, pulled or worn threads. The zipper pulls smooth and all hardware is intact, the photos do not show how beautiful these pants are in person, the pinstripes are an iridescent silver color, and catch the light perfectly. While the pants are glittery, I didn't leave glitter everywhere I sat, or each time I brushed past something. Well worth the price for the luxe quality of the product. Read more
