Suited jacket but Karl Lagerfeld This is a nice item. It's shorter than I expected based on the photo, but that's my perception. Be sure to measure across the chest based on the Lagerfeld jacket chart for the correct fit. You're purchasing based on the largest largest part of your body as suppose to your typical size. There is no stretch. The design is nice, it's that classic style Chanel kind of coined in our memories. The fabric is nice, I'll dry clean before wearing to shake out the extra sparkles and threads. The buttons are nice and they were kind enough to include an extra. The stitching looks about the same quality as my older items I've bought in store. It's nice colors. It's on the heavy side, and would be best used in colder climates. That might mean the office or winter for you. The shoulders have a strong pad in them that might be too bold on a petite frame. The arm movement looks a bit odd and is stiff, but at this affordable price point I think it's reasonable. It is a straight cut down the side, and length is around your bellybutton. 20 inches long. The material it's s made out of polyester, and a bit of cotton, rayon, whool. It has pockets in either side of the front. No suited pockets. It is not machine washable on the label. This is definitely well made but it’s slightly uncomfortable because it’s rather heavy compared to a normal jacket or cardigan. Also size up or you won’t be able to raise your arms. The size I got fits just right so it’s not as comfortable. Read more

I really wish that seeing this on "me" could adequately represent just how luscious, rich and beautiful this perfect Karl Lagerfeld jacket really is. What struck me when it arrived was the weight. This designer does not cut corners when it comes to textiles used in building their garments. This is a wool blend that seamlessly combines softness and metal and shine to create a timeless jacket that can be worn with anything! I ordered a small which is my usual size and the fit is spot on! This versatile zip-up button-adorned jacket is cropped at the waistline. It can be worn with jeans, skirts (of any length), pants, leggings or anything you can imagine... I plan to wear it with skinny jeans and boots! It is definitely a Fall and Winter weight. It is fully lined with a silky fabric, and heavy enough to keep you warm during the cooler months. The "style" factor on this is through the roof! It is at once both timeless (yes I said that already but it is) AND fresh! The complicated threading is gorgeous, along with Little gems sewn throughout. The beautiful zip adornment and lovely scalloped buttons make this garment high class and elegant. The colors throughout the garment allow you to wear it with any kind of jewelry you can imagine. Gold, silver, rose gold or even pearls. Accessorize to your heart's content! BUT... keep it simple because the jacket itself is decorative all alone! If you're a fan of Karl Lagerfeld, you can count on the quality of this lovely jacket. KARL LAGERFELD Women’s Structured Suiting Jacket (6, Black/Gold) I have quite a few Karl Lagerfeld pieces and I love them. This tweed suit jacket is gorgeous and top notch. the colors running through it are subtle with gold running through black as the main two colors. This suit is made flawlessly and lined with KL monogram fabric. It is definitely a winter item; it’s thick and heavy - just like a Chanel tweed suit jacket. The fit is true to size, but a little tight across the shoulders when I hug myself, although I would have found an 8 too large. Nonetheless, if in doubt or between sizes, order one size up from your regular size. For reference: I’m 5’3" and wear a size 6; ordered a 6. This came packaged nicely folded in a sturdy cardboard box by itself. I took it directly out of the package and put it on. This is a dry clean only suit jacket due to the nature of these type of tweed fabrics. It comes with an extra button and thread. Read more

This jacket is STUNNING!!! I didn't really have any expectations, except that I ordered a size up so that I could layer, and have a bit of an oversized effect. This was the right call for me. I am usually a 10/12 and went with a 14. All of the trim on this is really luxe and the cost of this piece is well justified by the high end finishing. The gold buttons scream luxury and the edging of the collar and pockets looks neat but also just a tad punk. The lining keeps the inside of the jacket feeling very cool and smooth against my skin, if I choose to wear this with a camisole or slip dress. I can't wait to wear this in the fall with boots and leather pants so I can pretend to be Anne Hathaway in the Devil Wears Prada, lol. This is a capsule piece that I know will stand the test of time, and with proper care, my daughter will enjoy this as well. Am I gushing a bit?
