This is a very nice item, and I am going to keep it, but you should know that the width is 42-1/2" wide, not 42". If your table is like mine, it will hang over the edge 1/2". I am trying to figure out a way to cut if off without damaging the beauty of the cover. Read more

I have a table that the finish is peeling but don't have the means to refinish it. This helps to protect the table and keeps us from accidentally eating the table finish. Like the frosted table cover over the clear one because the clear one would stick to the table in spots and look like wet spots. I would suggest that the manufacturer roll the table cover so that the textured side is on the inside so that when you unroll it the edges will sit flat, the ends kept curling up even when heated with a hairdryer and a heat gun. I finally got it to sit flat by rolling it the opposite way and then letting it get heated by the sun at our front entry door for a few days. Read more
