Runs big. Thats why 3 stars. Ordered twice and both big. First time was swimming on my I returned and ordered again and sized down. I initially went according to size chart. My return window for the second time passed me by so I have a skirt I don’t wear and will eventually get it tailored. Other than that it’s great material and lining def a quality skirt. Lovely, long skirt. The crepe material is a very nice weight, and it's fully lined. The kick pleat is deep (ie, not a slit) and hangs well. The waist is smoothly bound and lies smoothly. I am 5'3" and it hits low calf/just above my ankle. I would probably hem it up if I wanted to use it as an office skirt; but I need it for concerts/more formal occasions, so it's absolutely perfect as is! Truly happy I found it. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Liked the simple elegance of the black material and back vent. I purchased 16 and 18, returning the 18. Plenty of room in waist and has slight stretch. I am 5'8", 218 lbs and have long legs. Bought for impending funeral, but great for anything. Wanted more than below the knee so it will look good with a kitten heel instead of 3-4 inch for comfort on "that day". Perfect choice!
