Update: I've been using these sheets for several weeks and I have to say, I AM IN LOVE!!! I finally had time to change up the bedding and I can honestly say, they are my absolute favorite sheets. I am so happy with these sheets. They are comfortable, smooth and soft. They wash well and after a couple washings, they haven't shrunk. Despite having a large mattress and all the extra's, these sheets still fit perfectly. I usually have problems with sheets. They'll go on tight but after a week or two, the corners start popping off. It gets annoying. I do not have that problem with these sheets. I have also decided to update my horrible looking bedroom and ironically, the design will be based around these sheets. The wall behind the bed will be white but I'm putting up board and batten which will be black so my room will be black and white with a wood slat ceiling. It is going to be look amazing. I can't wait. So although my previous review was positive, I wanted to make it clear that these are the best sheets ever. Well worth the price. Don't contemplate, just order them. You won't be disappointed. Original review: These are very expensive sheets but can you really put a price tag on luxury? These sheets came onto my Amazon Vine feed so I ordered them. I didn't look at the pictures closely so I did not notice the black design were a series of dots and not a black line. I'm not a fan but it doesn't detract from the sheets. These sheets are very nice. Soft, comfortable, made of cotton and a nice crisp white. They came packaged well and they are easy care. Machine wash with non chlorine bleach. I was worried about the pockets not being big enough but they are exceptionally sized. I have no complaints. Despite the design not being up to my taste, they are still pretty great sheets. These sheets are so comfortable - perfect for the warmer weather as the 100% cotton does not trap heat. Not the highest thread count but soft and cozy. Easy to wash and dry. The fitted sheet has a strong elastic band to keep it on the mattress without shifting and coming off. I think my mattress is about 14" and they go on easily and stay on. Good quality, but I can't say I would have purchased these had they been part of the vine program, due to the cost. They are an investment, and you are paying for the name brand along with the quality. Read more

These sheets are nice, but I thought for the price, that they would be better. They are a bit stiff and we have been using them for months now and have washed them multiple times and while they have softened up some, there is still a ways to go. They are also very wrinkled, even right out of the dryer. The crisp, bright white color is nice and gives the bed a clean and elegant look. I would have just liked more comfort out of these sheets. The Dot King Sheet Set by kate spade new York, is a wonderful, high quality set of sheets that will engulf you in goodness with a simple, yet elegant look. These 100% cotton sheets are very soft and provide a wonderful feel. The stitching is tight and seems to be holding up great. The fit is good, but they aren’t super deep if you have a really thick mattress pad. Being cotton they are wrinkle prone, but on the better side of being wrinkle free. Overall, I love these sheet and what they offer. They are a high quality, durable and soft option that are a pleasure to use. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. As a mid-40's woman, I have reached the stage of life where sheet quality directly impacts the quality of my sleep, and therefore, the quality of my day. I was hesitant to give these a shot, as I was currently mostly satisfied with my very expensive Po-ry Ba-n sheets, and it took me months to be happy with those. When I opened this [very pretty] Kate Spade sheet set, I immediately noticed an unpleasant, though not strong, odor. I put them straight into the wash, and followed the directions of washing on delicate, no bleach. To my delight, they actually dried in one drier cycle, without needing to be untangled from each other. They came out smelling fresh and clean (I use an unscented detergent strip, so the odor was definitely gone, not covered by perfume). They were easy to put onto my king sized bed, without looking loose and sloppy or being stretched too tightly. The embroidered detailing is so pretty and elegant! I was almost sad to cover it up with the rest of the bedding, but because I'm not the kind of person who irons my sheets, it was probably for the best. My first night sleeping in this set was *magical*. They did not make me sweat. I did not slide around, they did not stick to my skin. They did not feel too rough, too thin, or too thick. They feel like cotton spun from clouds by fairies, and, other than my dog insisting I acknowledge his presence every two hours, I had the most splendid, comfortable sleep I've had in YEARS.
