I've purchased more than a couple of this same style "sweaters" in the past few years, & not one of them comes even close to the quality, fit & honestly just cuteness of this one. First & most importantly...it actually IS a sweater. No textured-polyester or wtfever so many of them have been made from. Like I never imagined finding a KNIT SWEATER, y'know, made of KNIT??...would ever be so challenging but here we are. :\ Which is the main reason I find this one so fantastic; it's made of the proper material & not just that but nice, high quality proper material. The collar actually stayed down, after washing it! That was a first as well, in my recent unpleasant experiences purchasing similar pieces on here. The fit's great, the construction's great, the price is great...I swear, & yes I'm *definitely* gonna knock wood after saying this lol but I swear, the quality of SEVERAL Amazon clothing purchases of late is damn near a 180 from what it has been in the *very* recent past. This sweater is well made and the seams are sewn well. I like the design, color and style. It's stretchy, but still holds its shape. I like how it is a bit form fitting to show my shape, but not too tight. It has nice ease to it. The sleeves are plenty long and come down a bit onto my hand. So when I move around, the sleeves do not ride up. This is great for me, as I am tall so some shirts have sleeves that are too short. This sweater is warm and structured. The collar lays down nicely. The length is just below the top of my jeans. The stripes are even. There is a texture to this sweater like a basket weave. There are no buttons, and the seams are ringed to match the collar and v-neck. It is lightweight and quite breathable, but it is seemingly quite durable, while still being soft and comfortable. Because it is fitted, it showcases my body well and the ribbed pattern is slimming. I've worn it to school a couple of times, once with jeans and once with a skirt. I also wore it to the theater one time, so it looks good in many situations. As importantly, because it is not bulky, it layers well under coats, so you can dress it up as you need to. While the seller says that it is hand wash only, I don't have time for that nonsense so I definitely throw it in the machine in a lingerie bag to protect it and then dry it flat on a towel. I really like this sweater. The entire item is a sweater, although it looks like it has a shirt under it. It's super cute. I wore it to work with a black skirt and it looked polished. I like that it clings to the body so it is not frumpy looking. At the same time, it is stretchy and very comfortable. I read one of the other reviews that said it ran long, so I ordered a small. While it fits perfectly, I feel like I would have preferred a medium. I did not find that it ran long. Ah, such is the challenge of ordering clothes online. Read more
