About a couple months ago I asked my dad to get this kazoo for me, when it came in the mail it was love at first sight, he wanted to get one also. I had the silver one so he got the gold one, it then came and he also loves it so here I am writing this review. This is a great product it didn't have any scratches or any other problems. Although there are a couple things I should mention, first this kazoo does NOT come with an "information sheet" as it says on the package but you won't need it, I promise if you have a problem there's nothing a quick google search can't solve. Second, some of the membranes are a little tight so don't be afraid to stretch them a little (they need some wiggle room to make the sound) but be careful not to break it. I’m pretty happy with the sound — it’s clear and fun to play. However, I originally thought the kazoo body was a single solid piece of aluminum. In reality, it’s made of two connected parts, which wasn’t obvious from the product photos. That said, it still feels sturdy and works well, just something to be aware of before buying. Read more
I'm not too sure why I bought it but it works well. I like how it included replacements and the tube it came in. My only concern, but not really an issue, is that the top and bottom part move a lot. Again, I'm not sure why I got this but I like the quality and sound. Read more
So my mom got this for me, because I wanted to entertain my friends at school, and it actually is a really good product, and to the parents wanting to get their kid a kazoo, it is a little annoying, but unless they play it every second of every day, it probably won't drive you crazy. I am in a budding ukulele group and we started using kazoos for a couple of our fun songs. Lots of laughter and pleasure. I like the extra membranes because I remember having to (sadly) toss out cheap toy kazoos as a child when the membranes wore out. This way, if a membrane wears out, I can just put in another. I also love having the container to keep the kazoo in to protect it while it is being lugged around in my "gig" bag. Read more
