I was familiar with the KEEN brand from a pair of hiking shoes I bought years ago during an unexpected snowstorm in Colorado that have served me well for years and a couple more vacations in warmth, durability and fit. Still, I had my doubts because house shoes in general are just rubbish Christmas gifts that last 4 months at best if they’re actually ever worn at all. These are ideal, especially if you’re one who has to step outside in the cold and get the paper or shovel the drive or shoot coyotes or foxes that are after your chicken coop or whatever reason people venture outside in their house shoes when it’s clearly too cold to do so. Warmth, coziness and support of a hiking boot with the casually snug attractiveness of house shoes. I doubt they’re very waterproof (untested as yet), so get back inside quickly once you’re sure your chickens are safe. Read more

I'm partial to Keen shoes since I need a wide toe box. My wife bought these for me for Christmas. I love wearing them around the house as they're light and comfortable. I also like that I don't have to take them off to go outside. Although they're clearly to be worn inside, they CAN be worn outside if it's dry. Enjoyable. Read more

I owned these in a leather (which they no longer make) and they were remarkable. It has been a few years since they wore out and thrown away, but they lasted almost 10 years. So I decided it was time for a great pair of slippers. The fit is awesome and look great. Just slide my feet in and go. My feet stay nice and warm but not too warm. The fit is true to size. Read more
