Amazing product. Kept me warm and comfortable in the mountains in >30°. Strong material, no tears on sleeping bag. Didn’t feel claustrophobic. A bit bigger and bulkier than I would prefer but still worked amazing. Read more

This is a great quality sleeping bag. One thing I didn’t want was a cheap sleeping bag that would fall apart after one use. I didn’t find any lose threads or tears in my bag. It’s a great packable size that will fit in my camping storage bin when not in use. I am 5’5” and the woman’s size fit me perfectly with room to spare. I live in California and it rarely rains here, so I can’t speak to the waterproofness but it definitely keeps me warm. The zippers are great quality but one thing I did notice is it would catch on the sleeping bag fabric if I tried to zip it too fast. The interior pocket is smaller than anticipated and barely fits my iPhone 16 pro. If you are claustrophobic I would avoid this sleeping bag as mummy style sleeping bags are a little restrictive. You can also unzip it all the way and use it as a quilt which works pretty fair. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and will continue using this sleeping bag. Read more

This bag compresses small and has kept me warm to 32 degrees. The zipper needs to be zipped slowly or it'll catch. It's a great sleeping bag for backpacking. Read more

I've only been able to use this for two nights thus far, but they provided a good testing ground. For reference, I'm 5'11" and about 215lbs. I got the regular size, and it fits like a (comfortable!) glove. I also have size 13 feet, so the foot box was slightly snug if I stretched out, but it helps to have insulated toes so no complaint there. I slept on a crummy $25 sleeping pad with little to no insulation, along with an exercise mat for some extra cushion, and I wore thermal bottoms, regular socks, and a thin t-shirt. On night one, temps were in the upper 30s. I had brought a light blanket with me in case I needed it, but I didn't end up using it at all the first night. I was pleasantly surprised, and slightly sweaty when I woke up since I had it in full mummy mode. On night two, temps dipped to the low 30s, so the sleep outfit helped and the blanket became useful. However, I think with a proper thermal sleeping pad, I would've been just fine without the blanket. The exercise mat, while nice and cushy, didn't help in the cold department either. The side zipper didn't even think about snagging. There's a thick strip of nylon that runs along the inside zip, so there's basically nothing to catch on. The outside doesn't have this so it may hang there if you're not careful, but I had no issues. This is the first time I didn't spend five solid minutes fighting a zipper. Also, and take this with a full tablespoon of salt since I've never been backpacking, but this bag seems to compress very well. I was car camping and didn't need to cinch it down much... so naturally I squeezed it to the size of a small watermelon just to test it out. I didn't expect to find such a fantastic sleeping bag at a price point this low with a freaking lifetime warranty. I'm very happy with the purchase and am looking forward to using it more. Read more

I received this sleeping bag today. It is the Kelty Cosmic Synthetic 20 F Long in the color Dark Shadow. I have included photos of the tags that were affixed to the bag and stuff sack and the orange one held on with a tether. Upon initial review (I have not had it out in the woods yet), it appears to be well made and very warm. Here's what I found: Use Dimensions: 84 inches long? Yes; 32 inches wide at shoulder? Yes if you pull it gently, 31 inches if you don't. Will it fit a big guy? I'm 6 foot 1 inches and 238 lbs and I fit just fine with room to spare at the bottom. Remember it's a mummy bag so it's going to be difficult to roll inside it if you are big and a side sleeper but the whole bag will roll easy enough. Packed Dimensions: I got it down to 14 inches by about 9.5 inches fairly easily. It will fit perfectly in my Osprey Atmos. Weight: The tag states 3.02 lbs. My luggage scale came in at 2.98 lbs without stuff sack. 3.16 lbs with stuff sack. Material: Shell is nylon. Lining is polyester - it's smooth not grippy like fleece. The insulation fill (Cirroloft) is polyester. See tag photos. Zippers: It has a two way zipper on the right side of the bag, so you can get some air in, at about your knee not your feet. I'd estimate the zipper starts about 2 ft up from the bottom of the bag. See photo. Cinch: It's on the left, so opposite the zipper. Seems to work just fine. Warmth: I haven't used it out in the cold but just laying in it with the zipper all the way up I was roasting in about a minute. The draft tubes are in the right places and fairly wide so they look like they would work well to keep your heat in. I particularly like the one that's at the top near your chest, this one will stop the warm air from coming out around your neck and head. The initial quality of this sleeping bag is excellent.
