I am very pleased with this sleeping bag. I bought it for our Scout High Adventure to Glacier National Park this past July where it gets pretty chilly overnight. This 20 degree Women's sleeping bag kept me warm. I do not like mummy style sleeping bags as I don’t like feeling confined and I like being able to move around within the bag. I’m a side sleeper and like to be able to switch sides within the bag without the whole thing moving and I can with this one. It does have a bit more room than a standard mummy sleeping bag. I am also very short (4’11”) so I have had a really hard time finding the right sleeping bag for me. Sleeping bags that are too long (which all of them are too long!) have too much wasted space and so I’m cold in them. Since this is designed for women, it is shorter in length and works perfect for me and maintains my body heat better. I also just used this on a campout this past weekend where we had to sleep under the stars and it got down to about 42 degrees. I had this sleeping bag, a blanket, and a tarp and I stayed warm all night. Highly recommend this for women, especially if you are short and have a hard time with all the other sleeping bags being too long! My only suggestion would be to add a compression sack but that doesn’t change my rating. It has a stuff sack, and I went ahead and used a compression sack I bought to save space when packing for campouts. Read more

Exactly as shown, gorgeous color! Perfect for hiking/camping, kept me warm. Very functional and sturdy. Does pack bigger than I’d like for backpacking but a compression sack took care of that. Purchased two more! Read more

It is very warm but if i were to choose again go for the one made of down for almost 80$ more, i bought it on a deal and honestly it does work, i use a sea to summit compression sack that vents air and 2 straps crossed to even compress it down to minimize the footprint on my bag. It will be wider than longer on your bag so you might have to play tetris. I would combine this with a fleece liner or perhaps a bevy cover if you plan to go in higher altitudes. I used it 1000 feet above the ground and my feet were a little too chill for my uninterrupted sleep. It has a inside flap to retain heat and it takes time to adjust the hood, unlike other sleeping bags this one is cleverly designed to cover everything except the mouth, something i found out after using it 4 times. Im 5’7 with a medium build, i think it could easily fit someone 6’0 6’1. I own the regular, the space on my arms isnt terribly tight and is quite comfortable to move my arms. In the misty mountains or even during the cold snowy days sleeping in your car this sleeping bag will keep you warm and you will think it twice before leaving the comfort of it. Read more

I have yet to test this in lower temps, but as someone who runs cold, a heavier sleeping bag is so important! I recently used it for summer camping and it was so nice. The extra padding around the neck area helped with insulation. I like the adjustable hood and roomy foot box. I’m a 5’6 female and this bag is plenty big for me. Zippers work great. It is big, but I value warmth over size! Read more
