This dress is very matronly. I thought it might be a nice office dress but it's just too frumpy for me. The fit is also a bit odd - the sleeves are absolutely massive on the upper arms, loose and baggy, I could have fit both my arms into a single sleeve! I was surprised by the giant box this dress came in. The dress came plastic sealed and on its own hanger, as if I bought it from Macy's or similar such place. The color is Kelly Green, unfortunately my camera makes it look more sea green. The photo on the listing actually shows the correct color, so refer to it please. The dress looks exactly as I expected. The material is substantially thick, the dress is fully lined. It will be too warm to wear in the spring. I think it's a perfect Christmas party or work holiday dress. It's very appropriate for someone who likes modest cut dresses. It looks a bit mature on me, however, it can be styled playfully with a large blingy brooch, a colorful silk scarf or a pair of glittery gold heels. Your existing wardrobe can dictate what you'll add here. The dress fits very well. I am 5'5" , approx 170lbs with C cup bust, for reference. I ordered size L as usual for me. The dress is stretchy but it skims my figure very nicely, creating a flattering hourglass shape. A lady of my size with a larger bust would look spectacular in this dress, there's definitely some room leftover in the chest area. If you're between sizes choose a smaller size. This review is for the “ kensie Women's Belle Sleeve Scuba Crepe Midi Dress“ I ordered this dress in size 14 in the light blue color. I went up a size since many of the nicer dresses are for less busty ladies . This dress is so much better than it looks in the listing. It is elegant and drapes perfectly. I even can hide my tummy behind the cool and elegant draped and gathered style of the front. This dress is washable, that is a definite bonus and saves quite some money compared to dry cleaning - and honestly hand for me washing just does not get things really clean. I tumbled it for 15 minutes on air fluff in the dryer, then I hung it up and the dress looks great! The dress is fully lined, no see through at all. the material has some stretch, great when sitting down. I am 5’10” and it hits right below my knee, true midi. My first 2 pictures show the true light blue color, the lining picture and me are off due to unfortunately lighting. The bell sleeves are wonderful, they swing so nicely and since they are so wide your waist looks a lot smaller. This will be my go-to dress for dinners and special events. At $108 it’s reasonably priced for the quality, style, design and craftsmanship you get. Read more

Amazon's size recommendations are hit or miss, and this was a miss. Even looking at the size chart, it's obvious a 4 wouldn't work for me. I wasn't able to see that before making my selection, so I didn't know. Truthfully, I'm not sure it would be great on me even in a larger size. I think this dress is better for women with a more straight up and down figure. The inner skirt is also a little awkward. Also odd is the short style with the thick fabric. This is cold-weather fabric, but it's a very short dress, which makes it a bit difficult to wear. You might end up both too hot and too cold at the same time. Read more
