The gel is so comfortable that I immediately forgot I was using it. This is my second purchase with the first breaking down only after seven years of daily use. I tried other wrist rests but nothing works as well for height and comfort as the gel. My only issue with it is that it is tooooooooo long. If you have a full-sized keyboard then you need the size but I am disabled so I use a lap desk with an Apple Magic keyboard. Either it hangs over the end (and I don't get the support of the fatter end) or I have to cut it in two pieces and glue the ends together. I knew I wanted this one from the start but I bought a different, cheaper one first. The other one was very disappointing and failed within hours. This one is fantastic. Bigger than I expected but not detrimentally so. It's actually bigger in a good way. Don't even get me started on how comfy it is. Mega super comfy. I put my full weight on it and it feels great. I have been using the matching mousepad/wrist pad for 7 years now and it is still going strong so I expect this to last. I wish I bought this years ago. It's so awesome. Read more

This is a nice gel wrist rest. I spend all day typing and this has been great - especially in a warmer room as the gel keeps the wrist rest cool and it has a little more give than others that I have used. Sadly, it does not hold up to cats and children. Within a week of getting it my cats had decided to wage war on the defenseless intruder to their domain. I don't know if it is the color or texture that they found offensive, but they have made several punctures to the wrist rest. Small punctures are somewhat self-sealing, but larger cuts tend to ooze the gel out. Highly recommend - as long as no one with claws or other sharp implements is near. Read more

Got one of these for work over two years ago where I'm in front of a computer for 8 to 12 hours a day. I even got a two year protection plan knowing how much use this thing would be going through. It was surprisingly durable. I'd flail it around in the air, whack it against things when bored, and pump it up and down making it look like a bird. I also used it as a wrist rest. Still, it took over two years and several months of frequent use, frequent abuse, and being tossed in and out of a locker before it was damaged. When it finally broke it was all on me for using something too sharp to clean out the middle and causing a crack in the hard plastic base. After that bird time would slowly spread that crack down the length of the wrist pad. I look forward to purchasing another one. Read more

For how much people and this company boast about the quality of its products, I expected the durability of this item to last longer than the time I’ve had it. I’ve had this item for one year, two months, but two months ago is when the tear appeared from normal use. Now, the exposed area is sticky, gross, and unsightly. The middle part where the two colors separate on top is a magnet for dust. Comfort: I’ve definitely had worse comfort with padded wrist rests in the past, but had higher hopes for this product - I’d give this a 3.5 out of 5. I use this at home for work eight hours a day and sometimes after some prolonged use, I would move it to the side because my wrist need a break from resting on it. All that being said, it is perfect for summer when things get really warm, because it’s like laying my wrist on the cold side of the pillow. Side note: I did buy the mouse pad as well, and the one thing I will say about it is the area for the mouse is a tad bit too small. Still debating if I should buy another one to find out if the quality has improved or seek out other brands. Read more
