I’ve used this vest for one day so far, transitioning from a 46-pound weighted vest. I’m excited to continue building strength with it. The vest itself is very light (about 6.5 lbs) and does not include additional weights—you’ll need to use gym weight plates or provide your own. The company claims it can hold up to 300 pounds, and it feels quite sturdy with 70 pounds loaded (two 35-lb plates, front and back). It’s both durable and stylish. Overall, I would say that I’m going to keep both my 46-pound vest and this one. That way, I can wear the 46-pounds vest at times when the gym is closed, and then wear this heavier-capacity vest when the gym is open and help is around. Read more
