I wanted a Thumbdrive that I could find in my drawer and also one that I could label. I lend them out and don't always get them back. So, I wanted something that would be "seen" by the borrower. I am a retired Multimedia specialist, photographer, videographer. I create many types of files for users and have to get them the media on an easily mobile medium which they can connect to computers, tablets, phones, other devices capable of displaying documents, audio/video files. I use these because of the small footprint which I can easily carry, or mail to them. I have purchased close to 100 of these in the past 5 years. The one item to remember when using these is that there is a physical/electronic limitation in that the maximum file size you can transfer is 4 gigabytes in size. No matter how much free file space is on the drive, it you try to transfer a file larger that 4 gig you will get an error message. If you happen to to travel thru TSA at airport or any location where you have to go thru body scanners/XRay on a conveyor, I highly recommend you wrap them in standard kitchen foil to prevent them from being accidentally erased by electrical fields/EMI. These work just fine so maybe I shouldn't take a star off, but they feel so incredibly cheap. Cheap plastic casing that feels like it would come apart when you pull it from the USB slot. I don't think I'd buy them again. Read more

The media could not be loaded. As a graphic designer I send all of my clients a copy of their files via USB drive when our business is done. These drives are not only gorgeous but also very practical/functional. I’m able to write the files very quickly and there’s plenty of space on each one. Only 5 out of the 10 worked. I wasted many hours downloading. The reason I purchased these is because of the pretty colors. They feel very thin like they will crack easily. I was very careful with them. Very disappointed. The ones that didn’t work had various problems. Like saying that they were ejected wrong or that the name was too long or that part of the data was defective etc. This was very curious because I was downloading 47.75 GB of the same data onto each 64 GB flash drive. Nothing varying. These downloads took about 2 and a half hours each. Some of them won’t even show up on my desktop when plugged in. The others have missing data blaming it on the file names. Neither one of the pink ones worked. The ones that did work were 2 blue, 1 green, 1 yellow and 1 purple. My computer is new and has plenty of memory etc. I even tried restarting my computer and shutting it down. It’s definitely the flash drives that don’t work. Read more
