Best Keyboard by Far

i love everything about this keyboard. Ive had it for almost a year now and before i purchased it i was looking everywhere for a fullsized, wireless, keyboard with a nob and the ability to swap between 2 devices (both of which in my case have different OS- Mac and Win). switching between my PC and macbook is easy, volume control nob is perfect. I literally do not have a single complaint about this keyboard. the weight was a slight annoyance in the beginning but ive actually grown to prefer a heavier keyboard. i cant suggest this enough, the yellow switches are great sounding as well, i prefer these over cherry red or brown Read more

Keychron Q Pro series a sleeper.

Very solid keyboard, nice level of thock. Not the deepest thock keyboard that I've owned but it doesn't sound plasticy and hollow like the GMMK Pro kb. Straight out of the box the stabs were prelubed with a decent amount, gasket mounted makes typing on it feel like the bottom out isn't a harsh concrete floor. The overall kb is like 5lb, this chunky full aluminum housing (top and bottom) is some heft to it. Very nice typing experience, good noise, nice feeling switches, and price wise is not bad for what you get out of the package. Especially if you come from a background of fully custom KBs which can run well over $400. Read more

96% GMMK PRO ... but a keychron

I'm not the biggest keyboard nerd, but I've probably tried about 20 different keyboards over the past few years and my typical daily drivers have been units that i assembled myself (minus soldering). My favorite keyboard feel wise was the GMMK Pro...but i tried going without the 10 key and it just didnt work for me. I even tried buying the GMMK separate 10key, but that wasnt it for me either. I then tried the GMMK 2 96%, and while it didnt have the heavy feel that i loved so much in the pro....it had the 10 key and was the best i had found. Well years have gone by and GMMK never made a 96% pro for some reason. But I stumbled upon a youtube video about the Q5 Pro and when i heard the reviewer say "6lbs of aluminum" while being 96% i knew i had to try it. I'm using the stock banana switches and they arent my cup of tea, but as soon as i my khail box navy's arrive in a few days this will be the "96% GMMK PRO" i always wanted :). Thanks Keychron. Good Quality Clacking

I like a weighty keyboard, and I certainly got a weighty keyboard. This is a hefty piece of kit, with good (plastic clack) clack. The ability to remap by way of Via is adequate, but support lags behind release of the device. You do have to go through a manual file to update the keymap. Read more
