This keyboard is a dream. Extremely satisfying and well made. It weighs a lot and appears very durable. The magnetic switches make the key press buttery smooth with the perfect sound. I love that the sound is muted and not clicky like most mechanical keyboards. Especially since I’m using it in an office setting. There are so many subtle light settings and they are easily controlled with the keyboard. This was important to me as I can’t download any software on my work computer. This keyboard has a high polling rate and keeps up with my typing speed resulting in less errors/backspacing. Overall I enjoy my 8-5 so much more using this keyboard. Read more

Quietest mechanical keyboard on earth. It is very heavy so you know the build quality is amongst the best. I love that it can be used wired or wireless and there is no difference in latency. It’s expensive but I promise you it is worth it and will last for many many years. Read more

I have been using this for a few months now, and I really have no complaints. Amazing typing experience, great battery life, quality construction, love the color combo, and of course the sound. It is quite hefty. Really the only thing I can think of that I don't love is the volume control knob. It's not the easiest to use, and I often fail when I attempt to quickly mute by pressing it down (it mutes then unmutes). Everything else about it is solid. The online interface which allows you to control the depth necessary to activate a keystroke (whole point of the HE switches) is great. Lighting isn't amazing, but that's the nature of the placement of the LEDs and opaque keycaps, NBD. Have had no problems with connectivity. Read more

What an excellent keyboard! I was hesitant to spend so much money on a keyboard, but I'm glad I finally did. I am a solutions architect and I spend the majority of my days doing developer/coding work. I am very familiar with mechanical keyboards and have had a few, including a DAS, Rainy 75 etc. I wasn't too sure about going with hall effect switches because I really love the feel of mechanical switches. If you are in the same camp, don't worry. It has the feel of a top of the line linear switch, and the sound profile of this keyboard is dreamy. If you spend a large amount of time on a keyboard, you should treat yourself to a truly fantastic typing experience. This thing is a winner! The best keyboard I have ever used by a mile! Read more

This is the best keyboard I have never owned. The build of it is very strong and the keys are great. I am using it with a new M4 MAX Mac Studio. The setup is easy, just plug it in and it is recognized. You can update the key mappings via Keychron launcher or QMK software. Battery life lasts about a week. The only issue I can see is there aren't many keycaps for it but that doesn't take off a star, but other than that, the keyboard is excellent. On thing to note, that I have read horror stories about Keychron and them not repairing keyboards within the 1 yr warranty, so i bought a 4 yr asurion plan for piece of mind, after all it is a $300 keyboard. I really didn't like this keyboard. It's very heavy. It doesn't have any battery level indicator. The web application for settings is a separate headache: sometimes it detects the keyboard, sometimes it doesn't. Switching between settings profiles using key combinations is confusing – if you don't remember which combination does what, the keyboard won't give you any hints. On the Asus Rog Strix Scope 2, for example, holding down the "Shift" and "-" keys illuminates keys 1 through 0, where 1 represents 10% remaining charge and 0 represents 100%. It's convenient and informative. With this keyboard, it's impossible to tell which settings profile the keyboard is currently using, what its battery level is, etc. The key press sound is unimpressive. The backlighting is average. In short, if it cost half as much, it would be okay. Probably the only plus is the full, 100% size of the keyboard, which is rare these days, as many companies have shifted their focus to smaller keyboards. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I need a Hall Effect keyboard for gaming purpose, and I also need QMK programming support. Keychron is always a solid choice. Build quality is impeccable. Keys are buttery smooth. The reason why I'm knocking one star off is: 1. The more budget-friendly K-HE line (K2 HE for example), has adjustable height. Surprisingly this more premium one does not. 2. The cable is not angled. The keyboard end of the cable sticks out too much and wobbles a lot. It takes more of my desk space than necessary and also looks fragile. 3. Keychron launcher has a max layer limit of 4. Read more
