These are going to be awesome once my child can learn to use them. Currently he’s 14 months old and efficient with drinking from straws and sippy cups. He can also feed himself baby food pouches with the ChooMee spouts attached. I assumed these would be just like that, but I can tell there is going to be a bit of a learning curve. I tried drinking from these water bottle spouts myself just to see how they work, and it’s not as simple as sucking from a straw or baby food pouch. You kind of have to pinch the spout between your teeth to let the water flow, which my toddler has yet to figure out, as he’s just sucking on it. I’m sure he expects it to work just like a ChooMee spout, a straw, or a sippy cup. In the meantime, I’ve been giving him a bottle of water with a spout attached just to let him play with it and get plenty of practice. He taught himself intuitively how to use a straw, so I figure this may be the same. The bottle ends up discarded on the floor a lot of the time and the spout has never leaked. He hasn’t tried to pull it out of the bottle yet either. Not sure how easy that would be for him. The spouts fit pretty perfectly in the standard sized Kirkland water bottles that I had on hand, which leads me to believe they will fit most water bottles, soda bottles, etc. I keep one in our park bag and our diaper bag with a fresh, sealed bottle of water so I don’t have to remember to bring a sippy cup when we go out. I was skeptical at how well these would hold up. So far they have worked great. My toddler has been biting, swinging, throwing and kicking the water bottle by the topper and it has not slipped out or really leaked. The occasional drop here and there from my toddler smacking the water bottle on the floor is fine by me. Really happy with this purchase! Read more

I am a parent doing the unending dance of trying to find a water bottle solution for my kids. Something easy to clean, spill resistant, easy to drink from, and preferably easy to use. I know it is a lot to ask. But these bottle toppers cover almost all of those criteria. It is pretty easy to insert them in a standard water bottle. It is a little tougher with those thin water bottles from walmart but definitely doable. It is easy for the kids to drink from them and close the top back. Though, even when they don't close the top, the stoppers do a pretty good job of not spilling. When it is time to clean them they do great in the dish washer or in the sink with a little bottle brush. The one drawback that we have encountered... the littlest kid likes to chew on things. She winds up widening the slit at the top of the stopper and ruining the "seal." In the scheme of drawbacks, it is my own kids fault, but something that may affect you too. I LOVE that I can just throw the stopper in my bag and get a water bottle wherever I am and don't have to lug a whole bottle around. And having 3 colors lets me tell the kids bottle apart at home.
