This cape and crown set is very well made. My grandson wore it for 5 hours today at Vacation Bible School ( for a "dress like royalty" day) and it withstood the rigors of music and dance, and recreational play. I'm pretty impressed. He loved the set. Color of cape is rich, and the fabric is very soft. My only criticism is that the velcro closure could be a bit longer for greater adjustability for a smaller head. Read more
Exactly what I needed for my kid's "Dress like a book character" day at school. Very versatile, great for pretend play, halloween, dress up of all sorts. The crown is the real gem of the set--nicely made, durable stitching, easy to adjust to my kid's head, and soft enough he'll wear it all day. The cloak is not super great quality--more like a thin velvety cloth that's almost see-through, something I'd expect from a dollar store set. But the fuzzy edging makes it look more regal. But overall, great deal for a great price! perfect for a super quick costume for school. I don't think the cloak will stand up to a washing, so not the most durable thing. I bought this cape and crown for my kids' party, and it was a huge letdown. The string on the cape came detached after just one try, before the party even started! And the stones on the crown started falling off with just light handling. Definitely not durable enough for active kids. Very disappointed. Read more
